CIBC Branch & ATM

My faith in CIBC has been taken away.. I was just told by my bank that they cannot take cash to deposit as I had forgotten my personal card!! I have 2 business accounts and personal with these guys! They shouldn't even be considered a bank, what bank does not accept cash?!?!?

I went to this branch expecting to be able to get coins (one of the only reason anyone would be forced to go to a bank counter) and I was told they have no coins in the bank. They are an 'advice branch'. I wish they would advertise as such so people wouldn't go out of their way and get turned around because A BANK DOESN'T HAVE MONEY. An insult of a branch.

This is now a digital bank. No tellers, resources to help with little things but you will have to go else where for cash and change if needed.

The only reason I go in to a branch is to get something I can't online or at an ATM. I needed an exact amount of money withdrawn from my account, $425. I was told the branch has no cash and I was pointed to their ATM machines but I would have to choose $440 or $420. I was also told the ATM process is simple and easy to do as though I had never used one before and had no idea I could get out cash from one. I don't appreciate that treatment and I have an issue when I can't withdraw a simple amount of money from a bank who has not made it known that there is no cash. I did not meet any advisors or managers so I can't speak to the service level they provide but my interactions with the branch has not been good.
