They've been really good with the mortgage, on point and updated and it goes smooth. The staff at the till are usually doing a good job. They lose two stars because of the policies lets make that clear.nnThis is for the banking itself. They never have money in the distributors. The hours are decreasing. And they always make a big fuss about giving you your money when you go to the till.nnGet with the times, everything is more expensive and these clowns limit your access to your money. All these amounts need to be increased. We are in a world with groceries at 60$/bag and 200$ fuel ups.
I don’t have a problem with the inside it’s the outside and location. Don’t send your loved ones alone on weekends especially to go pull cash or do business on the ATM’s. Numerous unwanted loitering going on.
I've had my account with RBC for just over a year. When I opened my first account the staff were super accommodating. I was having trouble booking online because the earliest I could get was 2 weeks later. I ended up booking an appt 2 weeks from then but shortly after I got a call from someone at the Lloyd branch who asked if I wanted an earlier appt. They got me in that day at 7pm which worked awesome for my schedule that day. The staff at this branch are helpful and kind
I’ve been resisting leaving a review on here for a few years now, but due to recent events, I have to get this out there in hopes they’ll make some changes.nnFirst off, the location and parking is terrible. They don’t open until 9:30am, so you can’t even plan on going there first thing in the morning before downtown gets busy. Between this and the extremely slow service I tend to avoid it at all costs.nnWhen I do need to physically go into the branch, the line is painfully slow moving. Even if there’s 1 or 2 people ahead, it’s still a 20+ minute wait to get to a teller.nnMy tipping point… I went yesterday to put a certified bank draft/tellers cheque from my other LOCAL bank into my account, and they PUT A HOLD ON IT! That’s the whole point of a bank draft! You could’ve at least made a phone call to verify it or something.nnNow don’t get me wrong, I’ve never had an issue with a staff member there and they’re all nice and helpful. But there needs to be some changes to RBC’s protocols so they can keep up with the times. Also recommend opening a second branch or moving to a larger, less congested area. Everyone I know that banks here have the same opinion.nnHoping this reaches someone who can make some changes.
Ami Fey was not a good person to deal with. She kept being rude to me and saying I was being rude I wasn’t yes I did raise my voice but it’s cause she was being rude and treating me like I was stupid. She said to me “omg what don’t you understand” when all I was was confused and wondering how they could do what they did to my account, And so much more she said to me that was very rude. Thought going in to the bank you get help but she just told me to get out of there cause she could not help me cause it was 7 minutes to closing I was there for almost 2 hours trying to figure stuff out. so if u go into RBC I would definitely not want to get help by Ami Fey.
