RBC Royal Bank

My few experiences here have been very mixed, but ultimately I don't wish to use this branch any longer. The tellers seem to be very kind and helpful. However, the welcome staff are apparently judgmental. My fiancee went to make an appointment for us to get a joint credit card. The welcome staff promptly offered her opinion that "these kinds of things don't tend to last" (meaning our relationship). After apparently reluctantly scheduling the appointment for us, we went back to talk to one of the employees about getting the credit card. He told us that he would need 2 years worth of my fiancee's T4s, but wouldn't accept mine because I'm a student. The whole process took a month and a half because he was never available when he said he was, and then he forwarded the application to Mastercard. When we called to finish the application, it was never actually submitted. With the advice from the Mastercard staff to set it up online, we did so, were instantly approved and received our cards in a week. Overall, terrible service. Only barely scratched two stars because of the decent tellers.

I've been a customer for years. I love the ladies behind the counter. They've usually got a decent book sale.

Amazing tellers best service and they have customer parking downtown!

I deal with this branch for personal and business, everyone is always smiling and very helpful

Even if you are an RBC customer, the second you set foot out if the bank, the security guard will be on you to move your car or threaten to get you ticketed or towed.
