So my account was locked out due to an account breach. The security line says to claim they left a voice mail on my phone (never did). Went to the branch to unlock it, and they tell me I need my passport to unlock it after checking my account for 20 minutes while calling RBC security phone line for 20 minutes. So despite myself showing a government issued ID, and being present in person and having the RBC account, they won't unlock it for a client. They'll try to make you a customer, but they'll try ways to screw you up big time.
