I have never received such rude behaviour from a bank manager. While dealing with my mother’s death back in 2021, as her POA and a joint account holder, I had to go in to the bank to deal with her government monies that I was able to take out for funeral expenses. The bank manager told me they were to go back to the government and so I did as asked and during our family grief went to service Canada and the cheques were returned to me as they were rightfully mine to deal with. Not only does this bank manager not know his line of business but he was so brash in front of the customers with absolutely no regard to a grieving person. As a Reverend I never complain about service but in this instance with me still receiving bank statements after closing the account several times and spending unnecessary time dealing with a bank who I no longer have anything to do with, I feel it is my responsibility as a citizen to post this so that other people will not be subjected to this unwarranted behaviour and lack of financial knowledge and the coldness I received. My prayer is no one will have to go through that.
As a business customer, I expect professional and efficient service, but unfortunately, my recent experience at RBC Clayton Park branch fell far short of those expectations. My team were met with disorganized customer service, which not only delayed our transactions but also impacted our operations for the day. It was surprising and disappointing to encounter such lack of attention and efficiency at a well-known bank. We hope our feedback prompts improvement in their service, as we rely heavily on our banking operations running smoothly.
If you are planning to go here, make sure you have half an hour to one hour extra, no one wants to attend the customers. Everyone is just walking around and pretending to look busy. 1 person attending line of almost 10. Will never come here again.
Although your experience might be different than mine, but overall good team and friendly representatives. The branch just needs more employee in order to assist all customers in a orderly fast way. Don’t forget to grab a coffee while in there.
After waiting 32 mins in line for a simple US money exchange. Well they could not even help with that. I am seriously considering another bank as the customer service is lacking for the amount of money they make off of me each year.
