RayPort Campground

The man running the place (sorry forgot his name) greeted us in the most welcoming way. Made sure we had everything we needed and gave us the best spot to set up our tent right on the creek side. Told us if we ever needed something just too knock on his home door (and we did he supplied us with propane for our bbq. Super nice dude). Bathrooms where spotless and showers had no shortage of hot water. Awesome campground would recommend!

We tented in July and had a great time. Friendly people and the owners were very helpful. Great washrooms facilities. Tenting areas were huge and very well kept. It is in by a small river which adds ambiance.

We were travelling from Ottawa and stayed at the Rayport Campground for 5 days while we toured Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. All 4 of us agreed that it was the best campground we had ever stayed in with a beautiful stream behind our trailers and approximately 20+ ducks that visited every day. If that wasn't enough, Dave Eisnor, who ran the campground was so nice and ensured that we had an amazing time. From the weeks before leaving on our trip to the 5 days that we were there, he was always available to help and answer questions and responded to e-mails within minutes. Definitely the place to camp when in that area!

Very comfortable campground. Hard to get to but on a small creek and wooded setting. Worth the effort. Very good location for seeing south shore. Owners very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great place to spend the night while vacationing in Nova Scotia. Friendly staff and campers. Everything is very clean. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.
