Ray's Pub & Grub

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. The food is always consistent. I've never had a bad meal here. Other restaurants might serve up a good meal one time, and the next, you leave disappointed. Not at Ray's.

Out of the way, cozy with warm fireplace. Was just after published kitchen closure. Sat us, took our order and delicious meal in quiet environment. They also served three after us. Very accommodating.

I'm giving them this mid rating because I have been here several times and while they seem to try to please the customers the service falls short. Simple drink order took a long time to get to the table. It took three different servers to deliver the food. Then they forgot have of one person order. The food was good and with the money. One item the had the whole table talking is the screaming of a waiters name because food was ready to be delivered. We were out in the far side of the dining room and we could hear them clear as a bell. Maybe they should look into a paging system to keep the screaming down.

Food was great. We had the prime rib and rib eye. I would go with the prime rib next time. Had crab cake appetizer. That was very good also.

Small hometown feel but big enough to host dinner parties when needed
