RARE-T

This store is the definition of Show Room Store. I don’t know how it will survive in a retail space for more than another year. You can tell the store is a passion project for the two owners. Their website is really well put together, and indeed the store’s aesthetic is nice. That said, the store feels out of place in the Champlain Mall. The price points are laughably off when compared to what’s available online or even in other collector stores. And yes, even when you factor exchange rates and fees, Rare-T builds in a healthy margin on the sales price. Even in West Mount or TMR, they would struggle to survive. We love walking around in Rare-T, but you’d have to be ignorant of the internet to believe what they offer there is worth what they are asking. We hope they rethink their strategy and operate exclusively online. Failing that, their inevitable bankruptcy sale will be interesting.

Rare-t is awesome. The owners and staff really know what it's about. Perfection in every detail and the quality of their stuff is top notch. I had a customized project in mind and they realized it in no time at all. They sent me pictures and gave me suggestions on different options I had and let me decide on everything. The deposit was easy and very simple to do. I did the deposit on PayPal but they also accept e transfers and other method of payment. Receipt was received minutes after deposit was made. I would and will be dealing with this great bunch of guys again. The level of professionalism is quite remarkable. Thanks again Rare-t.

Great collection, beautiful frames and museum box awesome stuff for a man cave or just to have in your household. A store that everyone should go see, great service, very friendly environment!

Total #mancave store....and stuff that the ladies will love too! Gold records, signed tv, movie and sports memorabilia, a life-size Batman - all for sale!
