RV spaces were tight and uneven, on gravelly pavement. Very difficult to autolevel; right side travel trailer wheels were off the ground. Spacing of sewer hookup was also tricky. Glad we had just bought a longer hose. Whole place looked old and in need of major regrading and resurfacing. Glad we were only there one night as we were passing through. Would not recommend.

Return visit for us. Terraced sites, outstanding view from almost every site as it sits atop a hill overlooking Rapid City. Clean shower rooms, updated. We come back because if you are doing things in Rapid City it is THE best location. It's not as posh as some of the campgrounds in the area but we like the price, the location, the pool and the staff!

Everything was great here, except each site was very close to each other, with absolutely NO GRASS. Dogs had to be on a SHORT leash of 6' or less, & the doggie poop area was far away. My dog slipped out of her collar & the campground lady driving around her little golf cart had a fit as if I purposely was breaking rules. Common out-west brains at work there.

Clean but I couldn't shake the feeling that the other folks camping were watching me. Idk. I was one of the only tent camps. Made me feel weird.

Update: After spending three months here (travel nursing) we have updated our review to 5 stars. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners and staff are super nice and accommodating. They have updated their wifi during our stay, and it is working much better. After learning a little history about this place; they bought it only a few years ago and inherited a mess. They have been making updates along the way, focusing on systems (electrical, plumbing, water, etc). They still have some work they could do to the landscaping, but like anything done well, it's done in phases. We LOVED staying here and you will too! Checked in yesterday. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nice park and amenities. Centrally located. WiFi not as available/strong as advertised, but we're at the bottom of the hill. Nice pool, playground for the kids, and wooded site.
