Ramada Sioux Falls

It was really quiet. Hardly a squeak could be heard. The rooms were clean, the pool was empty. Even at 8am the breakfast nook was really quiet.

I would think twice about booking this hotel. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the rooms weren't terrible. On another note all the pieces to the door locks on the wall were completely gutted sooo it was just a wood hole that the deadbolt licked into, doesn't make u feel exactly safe. Secondly, someone kept propping the back outside for open, I'm assuming you let non-guests in & out, we are also about 95% sure a guest was using backdoor to deal/smoke meth. Although we didn't exactly see it go down but the traffic going in and out & the smell kind of gave it away. Thirdly, the male working the front desk, believed to also be manager or assistant manager, was extremely rude, impatient, & seemed to be bothered by any question or extra work that may be involved. We also heard other guests complain about him as well. Lastly, there is no front lobby, we arrived a little early & my boyfriend had things he wanted to go do so I was just going to sit in the front lobby & read a book until it was time to check in. When I asked the front desk guy if there was somewhere I can sit & wait he looked at me like I was completely insane & offered me a basic cafeteria chair to sit in, I have back problems as well as other health issues & it was going to be an hour before I could check in, so instead my boyfriend had to delay his plans while we drove around to kill time. All & all this is a very seedy motel & I would not recommend starting there unless it is your absolute last option.

It was ok. I had a few issues. They said breakfast was till 9 but a 830 refused to replenish anything gone. Could of used a lot of cosmetic work. I'm not sure what to think when the front desk person says "your sure being a real pain in the rear" (when discussing staying another night ) for the money it was ok.

I can honestly say I am not very impressed with this hotel for the amount of money that was spent. The positives, the room was big and clean and the breakfast was decent and kept being refilled. The cons, definately the overnight staff member, she was rude to the children and not very helpful. For a sofa bed not to have sheets on it already seems a little weird and then when requested along with blankets to get the response "we don't have anymore" seems a little absurd. To say I will never frequent another Ramada due to this is a understatement. It makes me question how the reviews they've gotten have been decent. Maybe an off day but still don't see an excuse worthy of this behavior.
