Raisu is amazing. The food is tasty and all the dishes are incredibly well presented. If it’s your first time, the bowl are a must! Servers are nice and helpful without being pushy. The lively atmosphere and the communal seating only adds to the whole vibe of the place. Giving it 4 stars because prices are a bit on the higher side in my opinion: I spent $80 and left a bit hungry. Would definitely recommend though!
My partner and I tried the uni set meal and absolutely loved it. Each dish was delicious and it was so fun to have such a variety. The dishes came out quickly, we were impressed at the service.nnAs a side note, the washroom was also one of the nicest I’ve ever been in. They stocked it with things like feminine products, toothpicks and mouthwash. Was really nicely surprised by this.nnOverall, one of the nicest dining experiences we have ever had.nnCan’t wait to go back!
One of the best Japanese restaurants in Vancouver.nnThe food, service, presentation, and lively atmosphere is simply top notch. Every dish is simply delicious and amazingly presented. Service is friendly and attentive. Ingredients used are fresh and tasty.nnAlso recommend celebrating your special occasions and birthdays here. It’ll be a special experience for sure!
Top quality food and services. The seafood is very fish and I find the prices are reasonable. I anticipated the bill to be much higher but it’s very affordable.nnI come from Toronto and if you're visiting Vancouver, you must go here for the food.nWe ordered many different dishes and everything is a solid 8/10.
This is not my first time to Raisu. It is one of my favorite restaurants in town, well known for its great food and vibes.nnWe came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so we thought it was a good time to try out their uni menu. There were steamed egg custard, sashimi, sushi and lobster udon. We added the kobe beef sushi on top. They all went so well with the sake flight. Everything tasted so good.nnThe restaurant gave us an extra dessert for free. How nice!nnIt was a Tuesday evening and it was full house with a line waiting. Raisu is always busy.
