In February, 2017, I moved some household items from California to Sydney, Australia. The items arrived in early September. My Experience with Rainier Movers in the USA was very positive. My contact, Matt Brandon, was helpful, courteous, professional and promptly replied to my emails. The local movers who collected my items and delivered them to the port did an excellent job wrapping and protecting my things. They were delivered in a timely manner once they arrived in Australia. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that my experience with the local movers in Australia, Chess Movers, was less than acceptable. While they were very courteous over the phone, the broker they used to submit my paperwork to customs charged an extortionate fee. Because my goods were part of a deceased estate, I was required to employ a broker to submit my documents. I valued my goods at $700.00 and the broker charged me over $400.00 to submit my paperwork. When I received the quote for that, I rang Chess and asked if I could contact the broker to discuss the quote. They refused to give contact details. I rang Customs House in Sydney about the matter and was told the usual fee ranged between $90 and $110. They also warned me that if I decided to change brokers I could be liable for cancellation fees, storage fees and possibly other fees. In the end I just paid the money and promised myself I would NEVER ship items overseas again. I contacted Matt from Rainier about the matter and he is investigating the matter.

We could not have asked for a more pleasant international move. I think getting our belongings here was the easiest part of our entire move. There was constant communication, I could track our crate, and it arrived a week ahead of schedule! We were incredibly pleased with the entire process. I HIGHLY recommend Rainier Overseas Movers

We had Rainier to our move from California to Israel. The entire process was great and professional. It started with the person that came to give the estimate. He seemed honest, and looking back his estimate was exact! and we did not have to pay any extras for having more than initially estimated. On the day of the move two movers came and did an excellent job. It looked like it would be impossible to fit everything in the container, but somehow they made it happen. About 45 days later, the container arrived to Israel. We had a team of 3 movers coming and unpacking everything within 1 hour. They were also kind enough to take some of the unpacking trash with them. But now we have unpacked almost the entire container and not a single item was damaged! Finally, I had some complication with special needs for the invoice and Mark was kind and patient to answer everyone of my needs. We warmly recommend using their services, we couldn't hope for a better service.

I moved 2800 books, some art works, some kitchen things, and 2 pieces of furniture from Louisville Kentucky to Madrid, Spain. Everything went astonishingly smoothly. My things arrived on time, on budget, and it excellent condition; nothing was damaged. Rainier was extremely courteous, straightforward, and helpful throughout, as were their local affiliates in Louisville and Madrid. I don't plan any more intercontinental moves, but if I did, I'd use Rainier in a heartbeat.

Rainer was great!! From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and always helpful and ready to answer any questions or deal with any issues that came up. Competitive pricing as well! The shipping was great, they came and packed everything up and took care of wrapping all the fragiles. They delivered everything to our apartment, everything was in good shape, nothing broke! We highly recommend Rainier Shippers. Thanks!
