Amazing, friendly and welcoming atmosphere once you walk in. On top of having great food, whether you eat in or take out? 10/10! Definitely gonna be coming back to dine in more often! Shoutout to Kim for being top notch! c:

I really loved the place. It's a typical local Sports Bar with a great atmosphere, a good selection of beer, friendly people and tasty food. Large portions. They even had kids menu. Would recommend!

After a long time not seeing my work family due to covid19 we finally connected. Was a lovely lunch, food and atmosphere. The fish n chip was amazingly good, batter not to thick and homecut fries, gravy very tasty

Food brought it down for me. The fish is awesome but unfortunately my dish wasn't that great. The quality of the food was good but my burger was burnt and the fries kind of depressing tbh. Not sure if I'd suggest considering the price for what you get. Unless you're looking specifically for a good fish place I don't really recommend. Our chairs were like children tools - we had to hang out jackets between us and the next family crammed in on family stools - awardly. In fact our table didn't even have enough space for our food - we had to leave our condiments on the next table. Atmosphere was only a 2 star.

Finally made our way in to R U and will absolutely be back. The wings were fantastic. The menu is a good size without being overwhelming. Decent selection of beer. Reasonable prices. Lots of parking. It gets a good turnout. Our server, Dave, was excellent and made a genuine effort to learn our names and get to know us. The bar feels like a neighbourhood gem.

Ordered the 2 pc and 1 pc fish-and-chips dinner based on reviews online. They did not disappoint. The staff is friendly, courteous and fast. The portions are large. The fish is well battered and crispy, and well seasoned some other places are bland. I'm normally not a gravy person but the side $1 was well worth it -- it's smooth and flavourful not heavy in flour based gel. I ordered extra tartar sauce, but didn't have to. They also included malt vinegar -- never forget the malt vinegar!! Including pictures shortly.

Service was fast and friendly. Great spot for a quick sit down lunch. Lots of wing options. Able to grab a table at lunch during the week. Big shared parking lot. Tight spaces between tables, may not be accessible.

Best french fries in Guelph. My go to meal is the Jalyn wrap and it never disappoints. Service is always friendly as is the atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it outFood: 5/5

Working man/woman's pub. That's just the start. Kimberly and Lesley are the best ever owners of this place the staff are super friendly even when they are crazy busy. The best place to meet and have a laugh make new friends because everyone is friendly. The food is great here just another reason to stop in. Say Hi to Kimberly and tell her Randall and Susie sent you. This place is simply the greatest. Please stop by for a pint and a bite to eat. You will enjoy it.

Cozy little dive without the without the dive bar ick! Upon entering R U Serious we were able to seat ourselves, and were greeted warmly within a minute of sitting down. Dining area was smaller than expected by the size of the building, but it lends to a cozy atmosphere. TVs are viewable from all seating locations, the table we sat at felt sturdy and neither it or the accompanying chairs had any wobble. Tuesdays and Wednesdays there is a deal on for little pitchers if you are looking for that, nice price point for it as well, and pints are in a good price range by themselves as well. Table ordered a chicken club, you have multiple options for your choice of bread. Rather enjoy the sandwich was made with chunks of chicken meat and not just deli slices like some restaurants may do. Added a little black pepper to the sandwich and it goes great with the tomato slices The fries were not under or overdone and appear to be blanched ahead of time, it rounds out the meal nicely for a pub feel to them. Ordered a side of medium BBQ sauce to dip with. Taco salad was also ordered, and recommended as an enjoyable meal by our server. Portion was ample and was a flavourful delight. Came with portion cups of salsa, sour cream and ranch to add onto this mighty meal. Tortilla bowl remained crunchy all the way through the meal, even the base of the bowl. Looking for something a little different, may want to give this a try. : Sweet potato fries were ordered as a side and the portion size was good for the price, and comes with a chipotle mayo cup for dipping. If you find yourself passing along Silvercreek Parkway and feeling hungry, surely you can consider stopping in and giving them a try? We did and were glad to have given the place a chance, and don't call me Shirley~
