R Sushi

I have a big problem with R sushi.... The problem is that it is too good to order only once! It is delicious! OMG! I LOVE IT! My new favourite restaurant. -Excellent and beautiful presentation. -Sushi fresh, tasty and delicious. - Great and kind staff. Definitely I will continue ordering from this excellent restaurant

Beautiful and fresh food. Love the flowers that come with every sushi role. The rolls have a great ratio of filling, we got one of their sushi combos. The bento box was also great, and had a good combo of stuff. 1 star, deducted as they don't serve water... Yes - they give you bottled water without asking and then you pay $3 per bottle.

This has been a place on my list to try ever since it's opened and I finally got around to trying it today with my cousin. We walked in around 7 pm when there was barely any tables. No one greeted us or said hi or anything so we just proceeded to sit down at a table. The hostess/waitress proceeded to come with menus and told us we can sit in the window seat instead, which we ended up moving to. While looking at the menu, I thought it was strange that she never offered us water or anything like that or even asked if we wanted anything to drink ... well it turns out that you need to BUY water...in a water bottle. Which shocks me in this day and age that water isn't offered? Or she didn't even bother to ask if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered the sushi aburi combo A and deluxe sushi combo B. Both of these were mediocre at the most. Presentation wise, it definitely looks nice. However would I crave this place so much to come back again to eat their sushi? Probably not. It did not stand out at all to me. The rolls were mainly stuffed with cucumber with no other toppings inside which is disappointing to say the least. Not only was this a disappointing experience, but I would've hoped that at least the service was better. But clearly not.

This little place in Korean town does not get enough credit. Their torch sushi place is amazing and plating is very artistic. Love the window sitting! Price is fair. Friendly services and very fast.

Excellent. All my family is fan of R Sushi. -Tasty and Fresh food -Excellent presentation Every detail is important when delivering the delicious dishes to the customer, the presentation is excellent, the box is sealed with the restaurant's logo and when you open it you are surprised by every detail they put in and when I try the food I just close my eyes to taste even better and honestly I love it is very tasty and delicious. Thank you to the chef and all the staff. You all are Very kind and very professional.

I've never seen a restaurant take so much care and pride in how they box their take-out meals. Fantastic food and presentation. Ordered a bunch of stuff but the O-toro and the torched sushi really stood out to me. Food tastes just as good or better than it looks.

Place 5 stars. Nice and cozy Deluxe sushi 20 pieces - 5 stars. Melting in your mouth. Delicious! Presentation- 5 stars. Plates, flowers everything is pretty and clean. Curry 3 stars. The only disappointment today. Looks and tastes like a bachelor’s meal cooked in a rush. Why would smth like this even be on the menu. Service is great. But we were the only customers. Salmon tasted amazing. Super fresh. And had a sweet taste. I will be back for more.

Beautifully presented sushi that tasted equally as delicious. In North York we have a lot of amazing affordable takeout sushi spots but the fish at R sushi was high quality while not being too expensive. We got a torch combo and salmon ikura bowl. I loved their roll the most but everything was extremely good. Highly recommend giving R Sushi a try!

Gave this sushi place a try on a Friday night. Takeout box presentation is really good. Only thing to complain is the price. Would come back here for special occasions though.

Ordered the party tray for lunch among 4 of us and we could barely finish it. The pieces are quite large, great variety, different selection than what you would expect. Well plated, very stuffed, appealing and was tasty. Could use more ginger at the start. Staff were friendly and nice. Would recommend this place
