We are family here, we absolutely love the campground. Becoming a member was the best thing we invested in.

I had read many poor reviews about Quinebaug Cove, but I believe that one should always see for ones self. I am glad I did. Although the landscape was harsh from the tornado (which anyone who watched the news would have know that), once inside the camp itself things weren't so bad. We were greeted by Laura in the office, who was very friendly and helpful. Once we were directed to our site and got settled we took a look around. There are still many trees in areas and actually the only real area hit by the tornado was the entrance and the hill seen from Rt 20. The facilities were good. Many things have been upgraded since the storm and work seems to be continuing on a daily basis. There is 20, 30 and 50 Amp services, all new water lines and cable TV. The pool was being re-painted and looked almost new. Our stay was very nice and quiet. The beach was a bit worn, but we were told that was part of the rehab. Overall, the customer service was great, the area attractions were excellent the facilities were decent and improving. I already booked for next year. I can't wait to see the improvements by then.
