This is the pub you are looking for. The beer list is extensive with local offerings on tap. The also often have specials of them. The food is good pub fare, not too fancy nor too greasy, but good tasting and fair priced. The service is prompt and unobtrusive. Absolutely a great place.

Came here as part of a work event for appetizers and drinks. It was great. We had a reservation which no one who worked there seemed to know about. The servers mostly ignored us when we came in though we were clearly trying to get their attention. They told us they couldn't find our reservation and they had two other larger parties coming so they couldn't accommodate us. The manager came at that point, knew exactly who we were and seated us. 
We ordered several appetizers, all of which were incredible,  and polished off a couple bottles of wine, and several other drinks. 
The manager was the one helping us the whole time. 
I don't know what we did to the regular waitstaff...
It was a great evening, started off a little rocky, but in the end it was really lovely.

Nice little pub with good food and friendly staff. The upstairs area has a great view of the super big screen on one side and a decent view of Lonsdale residential on the other. Had the classic beef dip and it didn't disappoint, the home style fries were awesome. Dedicated server in the upper area was very nice and there was a ladies room upstairs as well. The staff had to walk through regularly from a staff room nearby and could have been a bit more discreet instead of stomping right by the table. Parking looks like it could have more spots but at the time we didn't have any problems. Overall I recommend this pub for a quick meal and I bet it would be a great place for watching sports anytime. It's going to be a regular stop.

If you like a typical pub, then you'll enjoy Queens Cross. Good selection of food (my favourite is the Cross Salad), beers, and wines, as well as non-alcoholic options. Live music on occasion and there's always sports on!
