I would like to share my recent experience at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. I want to start off by saying that the service from the sales rep, Alec, was phenomenal. He was ready to answer any questions we had and used his expertise to find the perfect space for our loved one to rest. On the day of the burial, I was very impressed by the professionalism and thorough work done by the field men during the service. Thank you Queen of Heaven staff for making our day of mourning one of comfort and ease.
Losing a loved one is beyond words. But the staff here really allowed my family to grieve because they were so understanding, humble and truly compassionate. My son, and my family will join him soon in his resting place. RIP.
My husband and I first impression of Queen of Heaven Cemetery was wonderful. We had just left another one which I will not name because it was a mess. Anyway we called to see if we could stop by since we were in the area and needed a Cemetery quick for our son services on the 27th again since the other place we looked at was terrible. They told us to come by and Madeline G. Gomez our service representative was very helpful, consoling and knowledgeable. We picked our plot location for our son and bought 3 more for myself, husband and other son to be near him. On the day of the service the 27th we made great time getting to the Cemetery to not go pass our time of 2:30pm. Unfortunately when we arrived, the staff from Leak and Sons who called ahead to notify them of our route in progress were unable to locate the grounds men for 20-30mins. An officer whom happened to be around was finally able to locate some one so we could continue with our son burial. Everything turned out beautifully. We did not like the fact that the grounds men could not be located so that meant the area was not prepared as it was suppose to be which caused more unwanted stress to our family.
Tried to attach a picture- recently nicely decorated grave. Then they through all their empty Modelo beer cans and case on the grave next to it. No respect! Unbelievable how they can even ruin a cemetery.
Death of a parent is chaotic enough, the burial is expected to be professional, run smooth, organized and taken care of with grace. I was very disappointed in the service I received, it was very impersonal.
both parents are here. So it's part of my heart.
Absolutely beautiful day to honor those gone before us and revel at the beauty of this place of rest.
I find it very disrespectful that a CATHOLIC cemetery does not have the professionalism to make the people that have their love ones buried here aware that they are changing the rules as to how many decorations a plotter should have. Our hand made decorations were thrown out which were not cheap. I just want to know where were the letters, emails, or calls to make us aware. Not only are they making silly rules but where is the respect as we PAY for these spaces for our loves ones to rest. Its really discouraging that a religious cemetery could have such a cold heart. Lets focus more on the loud music, the disrespect individuals have when it comes to the cemetery vs decorations.
It’s a nice quiet place. All four of my grandparents are here. I like that there are water pumps, to water flowers.
We have had a few very early miscarriages. Since life begins at conception we wanted to respect the remains of our very young babies. We weren't sure what to do. Right after we contacted the cemetary we felt immediately at peace. The whole process was easy and the brief service before the burial was very comforting. We are very grateful, thank you.
