Quality Inn & Suites Northampton- Amherst

I have stayed here several times with my family and we are always pleased with the consistently pleasant experience. The staff is always courteous and goes the extra mile. They have a heated indoor pool and a great hot breakfast with a waffle maker, eggs, bacon or sausage, cereal/yogurt/bagels/fruit, etc. They are right off I91 and have plenty of parking also.

This hotel needs some serious maintenance...our room had parts of ceiling peeling, leaking toilet, then the toilet just wouldn't flush. The pool was down several days during our week stay. The on site dryer was broken and I was told it would be down for a few weeks. The computer in the lobby was removed so the staff good use it. The waffle maker was broken the entire time...there's too many things that need to be fixed to list.

Room was nice. A little out dated but for one night I couldn't complain. Breakfast was a 1 out of 5 unfortunately. Doesn't seem welcoming over all 2 out of 5 for me.

all no smoking rooms, says there are designated areas outside, no seating, and it's an ashtray in front of a room window, there isn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom, makes for a stinky morning :( the vending(just drink, no snacks) and ice area is on the top floor, and I'm handicapped...versus on every floor, the way it should be. the room is stuffy and uncomfortable. the bowling alley next door is loud with people in the parking area . if I had a choice, I would have left and found a better room. unfortunately no choice but to grin and bear it. good luck!!

Stayed here for First Night Northampton and it was in a great location off of downtown. It had friendly staff and a nice continental breakfast in the morning.
