Not a great hotel, it is rundown. Other reviews stated presence of bedbugs, I didn't see any thank God. But if I wake up and have bites I will be immediately editing my review. They need new shower heads. Mine had the typical green/white residue, which is extremely difficult to clean. The water did not feel too good but did the job; im glad there was lotion. The AC looked filthy, turned off after a while.nnOh also, someone opened my door...that's my fault for not locking it immediately. They asked who I was, I said that I just got this room, they apologized and left. Was not sure if I should call police. It's also kinda noisy. I think I need to form a habit of speaking to staff about potential issues.nnOther than that, it's alright. It's not pricey, so I guess u get what u pay for. Keep in mind that this location is essentially in the middle of nowhere, so if u just need a quick place to stay, this isn't too bad of a spot. I am not gonna judge all that much.nnSpeaking of location, this area is gorgeous. Upstate NY is a sight to see.

I was given a room with flooring and not carpet, which I loved. The room looked great!nnBUT, I notice after using the toilet the first time that my toilet paper took a very long time to go down. It was just slowly spinning before finally going down. Some moments I would have to flush it twice to get it down. I was getting ready to leave for the day and I noticed the toilet wasn’t flushing the toilet paper down. I flushed it a few times the water would fill up and slowly spin, the water would go down, but the toilet paper didn’t go anywhere. I let it go for a bit and tried flushing again before getting my shoes on to leave. Bad idea, the toilet filled up and kept going! All over the bathroom floor, I throw towels down and ran for the phone called the front desk told them what was going on. The front desk manager, ran to my room with the housekeeper, I ran to the door to let them in and slid to the door almost doing a split water was everywhere. The housekeeper snapped at me for not turning the water off. My thought was to get the towels down so that the water didn’t get to the door, which the water did go out the door. I didn’t think to reach around the toilet to turn off the water. This has never happened to me before. The water went out my hotel door and went into the hallway which I have to add is still carpeted. I just kept apologizing that I didn’t know I need to do that and then I just stood there dealing with her snapping at me as if this was my fault. All I did was flush a toilet with toilet paper in it!nnShe got the water off and started putting towels down. Another housekeeper showed up and I stood there listening to them say, “this happens all the time” “ they should really show the guests where the shut off valve is when they check in so they can turn the water off when this happens” “ this just happened to the other room down the hall” and they kept going. Sounded like multiple times a day this happens.Now I know why they took out the carpets. Maybe they should contact a plumber instead.nnAfter they dried the floor, the second housekeeper left to get something to wash the floor with.nnThere were pieces of toilet paper on the floor. The first housekeeper took her broom and pushed some of them out into the carpeted hallway, and then came back in and started to pick up the small pieces of toilet paper with her bare fingers and throwing it out into the hall and began touching everything without washing her hands.nnThe second housekeeper came back to the room with a small washcloth and a spray bottle. She sprayed one spot right in front of the toilet one sprits and wiping that with her dry rag, all over the bathroom floor with that tiny little spray. She also started picking up tiny little pieces of toilet paper with her bare fingers and throwing those away. Never washed her hands then she came out of the bathroom sprayed a small area in front of the door and wiped that everywhere. That’s how they cleaned the floor after my toilet over flowed.nAfter all of this, I began to notice, while walking to and from my room while I was checking out, that there were tiny little pieces of paper that looked just like toilet paper all over the carpeted hallway. I didn’t notice it before, but now that’s all I see. I looked at the cracks under the doors of each room I passed and they all had these little white pieces of paper that looked like toilet paper. I am beyond grossed out!nFYI there are some diseases that are passed through fecal matter. Please stay safe and go somewhere else.nnAlso want to add, the ice Machine had black mold.

The location is beautiful and quiet, the staff is great and helpful, I do agree with other reviews. I experience dirty sheets and was change to another room that the carpet was very stain with red juice. I only stay for a short period of time and the price was affordable. The staff was great is not their fault that the owners don't care to invest in a hotel that needs a serious upgrade and renovations even the locks are broken. I couldn't sleep afraid that someone was going to open the door and I didn't want to complain again. I felt this was a serious security issue. I also notice that a lot of customers was not happy with their stay since I witness them complaining to the front desk. The breakfast was good I did enjoy that they had hot bagels and tea a quick bite before you go out. They also don't have a safe to keep your valubles please don't bring them with you if you have electronics don't leave them in your room. Their is not fitness area and no pool. It was inform that the fitness area was close due to safety concerns their are ice machine and the vending machine is almost empty better bring some snack with you and drinking water.

We didn’t even stay the full night. When we got there we immediately started looking for bed bugs after reading reviews. We didn’t find any but we found a ton of stains. On the mattress, comforter, sheets. We brought them down to the front desk and got new sheets/comforter but then found the new ones given had stains as well. The room had a faint cigarette smell and overall the room was dirty and dingy.

Water ran dark brown when first turned on. Door was warped, plus the security latch was too narrow to go over the ball so could not use to secure the door. The toilet ran every few minutes even though no one was using it. Kept hearing some kind of noise that sounded like a huge washing machine on the spin cycle, but I somehow doubt laundry was being done all night long.. The place is run down and decrepit. Was seriously disappointed in this hotel. Used to be that if a hotel was under the Quality Hotels name, it was at least in decent shape. Had come up to NY to take care of some things after my Mom passed recently, and was a horrible trip, and believe me when I say that this place did nothing to help make things better.
