The experience seems improve every time I go there. This is likely the best Punch location. Awesome A second visit was a lot better than the first, but I'll still let my initial lunch experience at this location stand. However I will note that on the second visit, we actually got the pizzas we ordered and what not - that was nice Between the Italian opera in the speakers and the soap opera running on full blast on the cell phone of kitchen staff on break, the atmosphere kinda sucked and kinda headache inducing ‍ The pizzas were quite good though, even if a bit pricey, and they seemed to have managed putting regular pepperoni on my pizza and spicy salami on my six year olds pizza
You can never go wrong with a classic margarita pizza from Punch. It’s just the right amount for one person and the crust should be eaten with a side of balsamic and olive oil mix. Paired with a soda or beer and you have yourself a perfect dinner combo.Recommended dishesMargherita
Just had some pizza at pizzeria Lola and I wanted to benchmark my tastebuds with this pizzeria and I was pleasantly surprised when these guys outperformed pizzeria Lola. I’ll start with the dough. It was a pleasure to chew through the base. The base was fragrantly charred yet my mouth was not scarred by the crisped base. The tooth-sinkability of the base was amazing. We got a nondescript meat pizza and the margherita. The margherita had generous portions of puréed San marzano tomatoes unlike the offering by pizzeria Lola. I was also impressed by the ceramic plates that were used to serve the pizzas. They came with bumps that ensured the pizza base didn’t get soggy. This is especially crucial with Neapolitan pizzas, which tend to have soft, thin, fragile bases. This made the entire eating experience a lot less messy. If only these guys used more basil leaves on their margherita and also better quality basil
My wife always raves about Punch Pizza and today I had the opportunity to try it myself. First off the team here is very welcoming, shoutout to Sam and Chase. The restaurant itself is very well kept and clean. And now for the pizza, it’s very flavorful. It’s also a pizza that isn’t heavy with the crust as it’s something that will fill you up but not make you feel overly stuffed after eating it almost like a healthier pizza option. I would recommend trying Punch Pizza to others!
Every time I come here has been an amazingly transcendent experience. I always get the Napoli pizza with garlic, onions and cracked red pepper and Punch Pizza delivers a knockout experience with every pie. I never feel too full or bloated after eating the whole thing with the exception of the crust — that goes to my doggy! I’m a regular here and will keep frequenting this place for as long as we’re both around. Their pizzas smell so good that sometimes when I bring my pie home, I’ll let it sit on the counter for a while like an aromatic candle before I reheat it in the oven and finally eat it. So not only do you get a great meal, but it also comes with built-in aromatherapy!! Note: pictured is the Margherita pizza which is also like love in your mouth.
Best Neapolitan pizza in Minnesota hands down. This location was clean, had plenty of parking and an amazing patio
Visited for lunch. Good pizza, but i was a bit disappointed by the absence of the delicious puffy edge, which is characteristic for VPN pizza.
Incredibly good food and a very cute interior. It was quite artistic while still maintaining the typical home-feel scenery that's often found at other locstions. The staff were all quite nice and it was clean indoors. I have no complaints. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options for those who so choose to take that route. Kid-friendliness: While remaining casually classy, it is a good place to take children.
Love the decor! Knowledgeable & Friendly staff! Vegetarian options: Build your own options. Parking: Plenty. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Dietary restrictions: Build your own.
Went in for lunch. Very friendly counter staff. Pizza was amazing. Perfectly cooked! Greco salad was also very good. Best in the twin cities for wood fired pizza IMO
