Puerto Bravo

Puerto Bravo, for those of who don't know, is indeed that spot. Winning a Michelin guide nod just earlier this year, we can understand why it got its name out there. With a small and tight menu, the team behind Puerto bravo are cooking up some good food, and have recently expanded into the brunch space. If you find yourself on the east end for good flavours, this is definitely the spot.

Great spot for tacos. Each taco had a generous filling with different combination of textures and flavours. It was a messy meal but that’s a marker of delicious tacos. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in Toronto. It’s a small restaurant with amazing food that has so much flavour. All the meats and seafood were cooked and marinated perfectly with very generous filling. The flavour combination of the tostadas we ordered were very interesting and tasted really great ceviche tostada and Tuna tostada. The octopus taco had a nice smoky flavour and the shrimp one was very saucy and had a nice spice flavour. The place is small and quaint with a nice outdoor seating during the summer. Additionally, the food has been consistently good from the 3 times I have went to this restaurant over the past year. I would highly recommend coming here to try this restaurant.

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Puerto Bravo! The CAMARONES BRAVOS tacos were absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The drink selection was also top-notch highly recommend trying the MEZCALITA MANGO it definitely complemented our meal perfectly. The atmosphere and service added to the overall enjoyment of our day. Our waiter was very patient and kind to us, always with a smile on his face. We can't wait to visit again and explore more of their delicious offerings. We will definitely be back!! Great tasting food. Had guacamole, shrimp snd Carne asada tacos. And the dessert. Everyone in my party loved the food. Dessert tasted nice too. Friendly service.Food: 5/5

I tried the ceviche and tropical tostadas and the beef taco. The tostadas were quite large, very acidic and had a nice flavour to them. My friend had the corn dish also pictured. He said it was good but pretty expensive at $9 for what amounts to a bowl of corn We sat on the outside patio, which was a mistake. The patio itself is nice, but everything around it is awful - not a nice neighborhood. The store beside us was blasting some horrible music. I'll be eating inside next time for sure as it seemed very nice. The service was standard.

I don’t know. The guac didn’t feel fresh, with a few thin sliced onions that also didn’t feel fresh. Octopus and pork had a very weird taste, we wouldn’t finish it. My partner and I feel sick now, idk… didn’t have the best experience sorry.

A little piece of Mexican heaven in Gerrard East! The food here is top notch . From their delicious tacos, to the salsas and now their weekend brunch menu, it's the place to visit if you want to try authentic Mexican food in Toronto. Service is always friendly and welcoming, and the space is simply beautiful!Food: 5/5

We went there Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed the front patio, which they made a very cozy space with pillows and peotected from rain and sun. The menu is not extensive, but everything is well made. The service could be a little faster and more efficient, but overall is a good place.

Say outside and enjoyed some delicious authentic Mexican tacos. Had a great conversation with the server who's only been in Canada for two years. The food is delicious!! I've lived near Gerrard for a long time and rarely eat in the area, but I'll be back soon.Food: 5/5
