This place is awesome! It's a great place if you want to find delicious food, the best customer service, and a comfortable place. It's a complete experience! Place: beautiful restaurant with awesome details that complement all the experience. Clean and beautiful details. You could find a romantic place, with live music on weekends to enjoy a splendid time. Food: it's possible to find different alternatives on the menu for the whole family. It's delicious. The recommendation: octopus Service: If you have the opportunity to be attended by Tomas, it would be fantastic. He is the best and offers all the best of the place, a great moment, recommends great options if you don't know how to eat. To summarize, this is a great option to know the Greek culture.
Dropped in for a Saturday lunch with family. Staff are friendly and the ambiance is warm. I do like their choice of music as well. Ordered the seafood platter, they say it's for 2 but it really is for 3. Absolutely sensational, will go back again for sure.
First time to have the Saganaki! Tommy was excellent showing us how it was made. We all liked it! The lamp chop was really good. Very tender and juicy! Glad to know it is from our own Ontario.
We had a great experience here this past weekend. Our first time here and definitely not our last time. If you are lucky to have Tomas as your server, you are in great hands. He was attentive to our needs the whole night. We were celebrating a family birthday. The live singer and keyboard player were amazing and sang Happy Birthday. Loved the entertainment...very romantic and it feels like you're in Greece. I loved the romantic vibe here. The food was absolutely delicious - along with homemade dessert slices. Thank you for a memorable evening Tomas!
We love that place. We order fried calamari and lamb souvlaki , cheesecake and rose wine. Everything was tasty and fresh. They have live music on Fridays and Saturday. We enjoy listening local Greek music. Only cons is that music is loudly.
Absolutely scrumptious and had such a lovely dinner with my boyfriend. It was quite busy and there was a 20-30 minute wait time for the food, but it was worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly and the veggies alongside it were fresh and not soft which is how I love it! My boyfriend ordered the chicken souvlaki which was good as well, but not as great in comparison to the steak. Highly recommend!
4* for the food. 2* for the place, it needs to be renovated very outdated. 3* cleanliness, I personally hate sticky tables. 2* for our server who was in a rush just to serve you and get his tip and out you go, he spilled salad oil on a customer near me and just carried on is if nothing happened, and when he gives you the bill to pay he automatically goes into the machine and set the tip to the highest tip possible. I think there is better greek places in Danforth.
What a bad place! Service is very attitude and food takes a long time. It seems that since there were only two of us and ordered one dish for each person, the waiters were not very interested and it was difficult to find them. They brought me a basket of dry bread and when I asked for butter to go with them they brought it inside, it looked so poor with a little butter on it?! They don't tell you how long you will have to wait and they will let you wait more than 30 minutes for a dish. Average food, Meat was very dry and scorched! Last time back to this place!!!
Not worth the money! We were seated quickly but everything else felt like it took ages. Our food took a full hour to arrive from the moment we ordered, and it took 30 minutes for them to issue the bill which 1 was split up wrong and 2 they overcharged us for the house wine. The menu said $22 and they charged $24. When we brought this up with the waitress, she said “let me speak with the manager and see if we can get that reduced “ and took another 20 minutes to make those corrections. One of the waiters spilled water on my husband’s shorts while he was pouring water in his glass and told him to “be careful” while he kept spilling water on his shorts. The food was all right but very underwhelming for the price! The sea bass was nice but everything else was very bland, plus they served the same fish egg dip that I had ordered in my starter on my main butterfly shrimp, very underwhelming for $29. The vegetables were frozen! Overall a very poor experience for the $200+ we spent there. Save your money, we definitely won’t be back!
I've been to Christina's for few times, and we always end up having a great time at this little gem on the Danforth. Food is delicious, always fresh and nicely presented.. Professional staff and management, great live entertainment on weekends
