Pub de quartier

Story

Welcome to Pub BreWskey, your Old Montreal neighbourhood pub!
The BreWskey project started with 3 friends that share a passion for food, beer, whisky, gin and well, a passion for the good things in life. After years of working in bars and restaurants, we decided to open a microbrew and whisky pub, The BreWskey (that’s it, you got tùhe amazing play on words, Brew+Whiskey = BreWskey). Our goal is quite simple, we offer you the products and the service that we want to get as client and trust us, we’ve tried many bars !
At BreWskey’s, the ambiance is relaxed, welcoming and the dress code is “Just come wearing clothes”. We want you to feel at home. What really matters for us are the products. We offer a wide array of microbrew beers that will evolve with the clients and the employees. The whiskies are mostly Scotches and have an important place in our hearts. But don’t be scared non-drinker of beer or whiskey, we also have a large selection of alcohols, wines and various cocktails (that only us know the recipe) all selected for their originality and unmatched taste.
As for the food, the idea is the same. Our chef prepares original main and side dishes with a common recurring ingredient; alcohol ! Yes, we are serious. And if you are like us and you are always hungry, you will be delighted to know that food is available until 2h in the morning!
You will be able to enjoy our amazing (and large) terrace located directly on Saint-Paul Street almost all year long (you have to go home once in a while, unfortunately).
In short, at Pub BreWskey, you are welcome at home.

This is a very quaint little brew pub that brews their own beers. They have an unreal Porter that has a very nutty taste to it that became my favorite porter after the first sip. As the beer went on, the flavours only became better and better. This beer was so good, I HAD to get a second! The pub is right in the heart of old city, but in a more quiet area. There are cobblestone roads, plenty of old rock, brick, and stone walls surrounding this outdoor patio. The server we had was very knowledgeable, quick and friendly. The food also looked phenomenal, but we only had a couple of drinks on the patio since it was a BEAUTIFUL Spring day in Montreal! I highly recommend this place for someone looking for a great drink with great service.

What a great place to hang out. They have a great beer selection including many local offerings. The food selection is fun and different. It is well prepared and served up by friendly and helpful staff. I've been there several times and I look forward to going back. You can grab a cozy booth or get a big table for many. They always seem to play the right music.

Walk into this basement into a tiny little pub. If you manage to get a table (go early) you are in for a treat. Our server was very funny and super nice. The beer selection was good and the food even better. I might have gained 5lb from the mac and cheese.

It's the old Port so prep your wallet for a hit. However the quality and selection of food and beer is good. One of only two micros in the old Port worth visiting, they offer a selection of whiskeys as well. The rotating taps means you can pop in from time to time for an opportunity grab even if you aren't eating. If your in the old Port and money is no object than by all means enjoy the location, terrace, sub terranean pub under the market. It's classy but relaxed and the service is good.
