Chili chicken dry and crispy sesame beef were good! Decent price and generous portions. Today I tried the lunch special and chicken pakora. The lunch special is a good deal! $9.99 for a rice, neat or veggie dish, hot & sour soup, and a veggie spring roll. Great value for money!
Had very nice quick dinner here. Portion was very big. I like the hot sauce at the table. I will most definitely be coming back. Service was very good as well. Friendly service with a smile.
Recent update: As on Nov 25, 2022. We tried their fried chicken Momos and they are awesome as well. However don’t expect them to be coated with spices like Chilli Chicken Momos. But worth a try!!! Update : As on Nov 06, 2022. We tried their Chilli Chicken Momos…just go for it. Don’t think. It’s exceptional!!! Had a lovely dining experience here. This place exceeded our expectations. We ordered for Small Manchurian veg soup, triple schezwan chicken rice with gravy and coriander chicken. All the three dishes were fantastic. We could not finish it and hence had to pack it for home. The Manchurian soup comes with fried noodles the exact ones that we get in Mumbai. I have never seen these fried noodles in any of the Hakka places in Mississauga or Milton. The menu is extensive. Price point is okayish. Not very expensive.
POST UPDATE BELOW: This is an extremely bad restaurant!!. All of the food was refried and old, photos shown, they screwed up the order in the wontons and and gave us the chicken instead of shrimp, which cost more. And the taste was old and moldy! Please do not buy from this restaurant. Unless you want food poisoning!.. We had to throw away some of the deep fried items because it was inedible!! UPDATE: 12-2-2022 I wanted to post an update after my last review. We recieved a call back from the restaurant apologizing for the issues with the order, and offered to replace it or place an order of a similar type. We ordered a single large platter this time spicy ginger chicken, photo included, along with a separate order of noodles. The food was much better this time around, and I am quite satisfied with the restaurant making an effort to account for their mistakes. Thank you, Dan
We ordered take out on a Friday evening and didn't have to wait long for our order, even though the restaurant was packed. For 4 people, we ordered the chili chicken, Manchurian vegetables, nasi goreng noodles, Hakka house special veg Momo, corriander chicken and chow mein. Everything was delicious. When I think of Hakka food I usually only think of the chili chicken but I'm happy we ordered everything else as well because it was great. It also is a lot of food and the amount of food we ordered could have easily served 6-8 people
Very good flavors but they use way too much corn starch in everything so food gets very gloopy once it has cooled. All the food we have ordered so far has been really good except for the texture which is not very pleasant, due to the excessive cornstarch. Good portion sizes and very good value for money. Edit: we have always only ordered take out from this place, yesterday we went to dine in. Great service, very friendly. Food was a bit slow to come out but everything was very good.
Loved the chicken & shrimp hot & sour soup. Portion size was good. Ordered beef chilli dry and it was also good. Decent sized place. Good prices. Staff is polite and helpful. Looking forward to coming back again for sure!
Incredible hospitality. Amazing king Prawns 23, nice tandoori fish. All the items were good and when asked to further cook the chilly beef to our liking, it was done with a smile. Will be going back for sure.
Being a fan of Hakka food, we wanted to try this place that was close by home. We tried the Chilli Chicken. It was decent, it had the spice but kind of bland. There was definitely something missing in the taste. The portion wasn’t that big either compared to other Hakka spots we been to. We may give this spot one more chance but on the fence.
This is the best place to go to for dine in. Food is amazing, good portions, & very tasty. The last time I ordered tandoori fried rice which was made to perfection. However, the mixed veggies in garlic sauce & chillie fish was so oily that the oil actually curdled when we warmed it up. Never happened before, maybe a bad batch of oil was used. Usually very good service bit this last experience has kind of halted my patronage for a while.
