A rather nice sushi takeaway. Great value sushi boxes and yummy rolls. Be sure to try one of the special rolls - positively delicious. Convenient free parking and easy to use website where food can be ordered for collection or delivery - what's not to like?
Popped in for a quick lunch today and got the prawn tempura. Was expecting the normal fried prawns but this was much better! The fried prawns inside their own sushi roll! Very filling lovely flavours will definitely visit again.
Tried for the first time last night, delivery was quicker than quoted - a rarity these days. Food was excellent and well presented with all the sides and soy included, which I don't know at the time so ordered more. Will definitely be ordering again.
Appalling experience. Ordered ~£75 worth of food which still added a delivery fee to our order at 6pm, quoted a 2 hour delivery time. Come 8pm no food delivered, I call the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Online chat can't help, advises us to contact restaurant ourselves today or tomorrow and request a refund. Unbelievably the food arrives at 10.30pm with zero contact or updates. Spoke to a manager who was outraged we are upset at receiving food 2 and a half hours late with no contact and wanting a refund and how could we not be able to understand they were busy so a 4 and a half hour delivery time should be acceptable apparently. No attempt at an apology of any kind. If you want a reliable delivery service and to deal with reasonable human beings I could not recommend this restaurant and for sure have no interest using them again.
Ordering online and collection was easy. The sushi itself was fresh and very tasty. Keen to work my way though the rest of the menu.
We have mixed feelings about King Sushi. Overall, it's tasty stuff and really great to have local take-away sushi in our town. However, we are 50/50 on our experience. It's a bit pricey, sometimes the quality is lacking, strange ingredient msg? and our last order took a whopping 2 HOURS! to be delivered with no comment, explaination or apology. Just, "we're busy tonight". Gonna be some time before we order again, if we do at all. It's a shame because we really wanted to like this place!
Love this place. Only sushi location in LB. Everything is SO fresh! little overpriced but could argue it is worth it!! Very quick service
I really enjoyed the food from here, especially the katsu curry and the ura maki. Will definitely be trying more items from the menu!
Was a really nice Tuna Poke but was missing the avocado and also had what I assume was roe but not mentioned in the description?
Always delicious, we're so happy to have King Sushi nearby. The vegan sushi is wicked and the tofu katsu curry is amazing! I'm sure other stuff is too but we can't get past those two :
