We are in our 2nd season w this company, for both or our kids ages 3 & 5, and we are very happy and impressed w it. The teacher/child ratios are great, the staff are sweet w the kids, the admin is professional, the venue is great. Our kids love going and love their teachers. Highly recommended.
Today my son enjoyed his last class of skating lessons. The environment is a positive one with top notch teachers and well organized. There was a lockdown and Premier Skating honoured all lessons by extending the winter season. Although there were many children the head coach would notice whenever he was ready to move up a level which made mom and son very happy! We are very grateful!
I should start off my saying I’m a busy working Mom and usually do not have time to leave reviews. This is my third kid in skating lessons and after trying many other places I can honestly say Premier Skating group is excellent. The staff to skater ratio is high, they actually pay attention to what your child is doing and coach for improvement! They are organized and flexible. Highly recommend!!
My son started off with only skating a couple of times the previous winter. I was initially sceptical because of the cost. But let me tell you, money well spent. My son is loving every second he's on the ice. The instructors make it very fun and interactive for the kids. The knowledge in helping and teaching children at the beginner level is fantastic. My son is skating backwards, jumping, and getting up with no help. I highly recommend them. All in all its a wonderful experience
Our boys are having a great time and their skating skills have improved dramatically after just a few weeks
Both of my kids have learned how to skate with this wonderful group. The teachers are kind, patient and fun. Highly recommend!
Great, experienced and friendly teachers. Our kids love this program. They are doing it twice a week, having fun and improving.
Very unhappy with the owners of this company. Having run this place since the 80's. I would expect that they would allow credit card payments. Something about only expecting payment for a service by cash, cheque, email money transfer or money order and expecting payment in full before starting the lessons left me and my wife worrysome. When I called to explain my worry and ask if arrangements could be made to pay in cash at the end of each lesson the owner became very irate and started to raise his voice. It seems as though he couldn't understand my reluctance to pay him cash in full. I would like to think that a red flag would be thrown up in most peoples minds when a company offering a service expects payment in full before providing that service. After telling this to the owner he became even more irate and asked me if I would have the same concerns if I was paying for a university or college course , as they too also require payment upfront. When I asked if his skating school was a government run facility he had no answer for me. Nor did he have an adequate answer when I asked what would happen if one of his instructors was unable to make it to one of the lessons that I had already paid for upfront. I don't think it unreasonable for them to allow me to pay for each lesson in cash at the conclusion of each night. Not when this company refuses to accept any other form of payment. It is a shame because I was interested in registering for more than one program.
My daughter made a great friend and she enjoys coming to skating lessons every week.
