Mel Lastman Ice Skating Rink

Good size pleasure rink, gets busy on weekends but you can still enjoy a good skate. They play music during the hours that it's open. It's also surrounded by restaurants so you can go eat after a good skate, and it's also a good place for a date. The staff keep the ice in good condition, the zamboni comes out every 2 hours to allow the people enjoy their skateting time.

Great area to visit in the summer. They hold many festivals I.e. "Toronto Korean festival". You can watch performances on the stage. In the winter, you can skate on the rink.

Fun little rink. Parking is $2.50 every half hour just a minute walk away. They even maintain the ice with a Zamboni. Had a good time!

I couldn't really get the scope of this place because I went during the Toronto Korean Festival which had a lot of people. The Plaza looks like it can hold a lot of people and I believe it's also a farmer's market during the day.

Well maintained ice rink, no booking needed. Overall kids and youth friendly. Could be busy during holidays and weekends, but not too crowded during our visits.

There is Korean Festival which includes so many fun events such as Squid games, kpop dance, music performances, free to try Hanbok costumes and k-foods and drinks. Many of places include free games and prices. I won dalgona kits, secret hidden drink cocktail, $10 restorant coupon, cute taekon girl blanket, Polaroid photo and sticker pictures : I totally enjoyed my days I give huge appreciation to MCs, performers, and supporters

Nice place. Visited few times at this place, yonge and Sheppard Avenue west. Lots of things like jazz music festival, Korean festival other events take place.

A very nice park, not too big but it's a nice relief from the buildings around it.

Rink closes at only 6pm on weekends? What a way to promote a pleasant outdoor activity in the city. Toronto truly doesn't have enough ice rinks.

Mel Lastman Square is a beautiful park featuring 20,000 square feet of open space, a garden court, an outdoor amphitheatre, fountains and a reflecting pool.
