Story

Prana sits in a tranquil and romantic setting that will rekindle your spirit and rejuvenate your body. We are located on five acres atop the forested hills of Cornwall Bridge in Litchfield County, CT, less than two hours from Manhattan.

We offer two distinct accommodations to choose from: Prana Residence-Spa and Prana Guest House. The structure of both unique holistically designed homes is a timbered geodesic dome covered with foam. Its organic form, environmentally sensitive design and LEED chosen materials keep the building cool in summer and toasty warm in winter.

Prana Residence-Spa
Prana Residence-Spa accommodates 6 guests and features a spacious living/dining room with a dramatic 20-foot high dome ceiling and a signature wood burning fireplace. A red spiral staircase leads to the library/meditation area and the guest bedrooms. A fully equipped open kitchen with its stone countered bar looks out into the large yet cozy living room. This open design creates a homey environment while allowing an elegant place for entertainment. The residence has three attractive bedrooms, a loft, and three baths.
Prana Residence-Spa features a large indoor pool, sauna, deep, cold plunge tub, indoor jacuzzi, hot tub and solarium, which can be converted to a massage therapy room. On-call professional spa services, such as massage, are available to make your stay a memorable experience. The Spa facilities are for exclusive use of Prana Residence–Spa guests.

Prana Guest House
Prana Guest House is designed as a mother/daughter dwelling and accommodates up to 4 guests. The house is attached to the Prana Residence–Spa with its own separate entrance and private grounds. The Guest House creates an environment for vital activities, rest, and joyful living. Its unique architecture lends itself to a year around vacation home as well as an ideal place for creative work. The Guest House has a 20 foot arched ceiling with thermal windows set high into the structure. The space has abundant natural light, creating an airy feeling of tranquility.

Services
At your request we can book a variety of services including private butler or chef, daily housekeeping and chauffeured car service. We can also recommend and arrange outdoor recreational activities such as horseback riding, and other seasonal activities such as water sports, trout fishing, canoeing on the scenic Housatonic River, as well as bird watching at the nearby Audubon Center.
Prana is surrounded by the inspiring natural beauty of Litchfield County, CT.

Guests can enjoy year-round hiking on the Appalachian and Mohawk trails, skiing at Mohawk Mountain, golf, and tennis at nearby facilities and swimming in scenic nearby lakes. Prana is centrally located for antiquing, gallery hopping and fine dining.
