Prairie Schooner Steak House

Ambiance was really cool. Would go here again, but the food is SPENDY. Just be prepared for a minimum of $18.00 per person which isn’t terrible I considering the atmosphere. I gave 4 stars because we had to ask for drinks refilled, to go boxes and check. I feel if I’m spending over $80 for a family of 5 I expect a bit better service than we received. If you look past in my other reviews I leave a pretty similar theme. Food was good, service could be better. Environment and ambiance was so cool and we will be back!

Fun place with a very unique theme and layout. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The steak was great, nice seasoning and properly cooked. The deep fried mushrooms were absolutely perfect, a must have. The service started out strong, but waned a bit later on. Overall this is a great place to enjoy good food and a different atmosphere. I will be back whenever in Ogden.

We went here last night for my bf and daughter's birthday dinner. Everything's great, great servicefast, attentive and helpful, great food, big portions from appetizers, main course and free ice cream. Price are compatible with the portion.. Different ambience, feels like eating in countryside. Our server, Sarah, was very attentive and provide description of the menu and specials. Thank you for having us and we'll look forward to coming back.

The decor is pretty cool. The outside looks like an old western general store. The inside has different western settings and the tables are like mini stagecoach. So it feels like you're out on the plains on a starry night. The food was okay. My party had ribs and they liked them, but that was the only thing they liked. The chicken noodle soup tasted watered down, did not care for the salad. I had steak and shrimp. For $25 I expected the quality of meat to be better. I also had steak fries that seemed to come from a freezer bag. I had the exact same meal at Andy's, same price, and it was far better quality.

This place was so much fun. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was great fun. My ten year old had a blast. The food was excellent too. If you have room for dessert, the smore skillet was nothing short of phenomenal. This place is a great experience. Bring the whole family.

Omg INCREDIBLE!! I Went here with my best friend for a celebration dinner. We shared the crab and prime rib. Omg the prime rib was seriously the best I've ever had. It melted in your mouth I didn't even use my knife to cut it, it was that tender. The ambiance is fun and creative which just makes for an all around fantastic experience. I would highly recommend! My compliments to the chef!

What a FUN time. Incredible food-steak cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere. Matt our waiter made our aunts birthday special. We never had to “look for help” he always asked if things were ok or anything needed. Highly recommend.

Very cool western styled restaurant with a comprehensive menu. Servers were very nice but the food was not prepared as they stated. We ordered exactly as the menu guide started but all of our steaks were over cooked and disappointing

Me and my family had such a good time here. The service was great, and the ambiance was fantastic. I will say the food didn’t have quite as much flavor as I was hoping but it wasn’t bad by any means. We enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere we will 10/10 bring people here again.

Spent more time waiting than eating..over priced for the quality of the food. Our waitres took so long to come back. I ordered an alcoholic beverage schooner lemonade...it was just a lemonade...not one small taste of alcohol at all. We got cold mac and cheese....by the time it was replaced my kids were done. Not a good experience
