Dr. Warshaw removed a plantar wart for me a year ago. At that time he required a permission form from my Endocronologist diabetes doctor to remove the wart, which my endocronologist submitted to him.
The wart has come back now a year later. I called to set up an appointment again to have the wart removed with Dr. Warshaw. I also call my endocronologist proactively to send over another authorization for him to remove my plantar wart.
Dr. Warshaw would not accept or even allow this letter to be sent over in advance. My endocronologist called me to apologize saying that his office would not give them any information on what information was needed. When I call back and spoke to Dr. Warshaw directly and explained to him how I was trying to have the documentation which he would require ready, he said "that not how I do business." No reason was given other than, "that's not how we do business and if you do not like that I suggest you go elsewhere for help."
He required that I come and see him, and then have my diabetes doctor send over the paperwork. This I presume, so he can charge me for an office visit twice, rather than being able to accomplish the objective in one setting.
I would not recommend using Dr. Warshaw and do not trust him or his staff.
