Story

We are located in the heart of Port Credit, just 2 blocks west of Hurontario on Lakeshore Rd. East. The Port Credit Academy of Martial Arts has been voted Best in Mississauga during many of our 31 years teaching in the city.
We teach all ages from our 3 year old tiny tigers, youth karate, teen & adult karate, Kardio Kicks fitness kickboxing, Tai Chi Chuan, and Self Defence.

I signed for a month to try, but they trapped me for a year now, threatening me to send me to collection agency. Lessons are really useless, and you have to spend so much money for some ridiculousness lessons. There far more places in the city where real people teach you a real martial art, but not this guys!

Great people, very welcoming to newcomers. But, unless you are absolute ready to commit DO NOT sign any contract with them. It is cheaper but they will enforce it no matter what. My daughter and I tried the three month trial and loved it. We signed the one-year contract and within 2 months I couldn't walk. The Academy were supportive and let me suspend my account for 2 months. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and told I could not walk barefoot ever. In fact, I may never be able to walk without shoes. I explained this to the Academy, and they DID NOT CARE. They informed me that I had signed a binding contract and I owed them. All of which is absolutely true. They weren't going to let me wear shoes in the classes nor were they interested in finding a reasonable compromise regarding the contract. They made me pay several thousand dollars for a service I was unable to use. Their number one priority was getting their money. Be warned.

Our 5 year old attends twice weekly. He loves attending. We also sign him up for camps which run in a fun, safe organize manner. Friendly teaching skills allowing children to feel encouraged and more importantly having fun!
