Port City Victorian Inn Bed & Breakfast

About

We hope you enjoy visiting our site and eventually visiting our Inn just as much as we enjoy having you as our guests.

Story

We are Barbara and Fred Schossau. Our Inn is a five bedroom, 5,000 square foot home, built by Alexander Rodgers, Sr. in 1877. Our motto is, “Hospitality the Old Fashioned Way”. We are close to the Muskegon Michigan Car Ferry and a number of other Muskegon Michigan attractions. Our Michigan Christian bed and Breakfast is a favorite of Michigan business travelers and business women travelers.

Lovely visit. Barbara and Fred were so welcoming and offered much hospitality when they invited us into their home. The house had a beautiful charm full of history to adventure. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway. They are looking to sell their home soon and retire, so hurry in before missing this awesome opportunity to meet the owners and venture through history.

PERFECT!! We had cheeses and crackers waiting for us with some chocolates and a Michigan wine! Breakfast was delicious as well. What an honor to have stayed in a home with so much history, very thankful!

If we could give it 10 stars, we would. It's the most stunning and comforting place to stay. Every room in the 1877 Victorian is gorgeous and spotless. The owners are angels. And the 2 Yorkies melted my heart! Please go if you can, it will be amazing! We will come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the Victorian Inn B&B. Fred and Barb were very friendly and informative hosts. We stayed in the Anastacia room, which is their smallest, it was perfect for the two of us. The home, furniture, and fixtures are pretty amazing. Barb cooked us a great, filling, and full breakfast each morning. Fred and Barb would tell us about the town and area's history and current things to do and see during breakfast. We really enjoyed our conversations before we would head out for the day. We highly recommend and will be staying here again on our next trip to Muskegon.
