Poodle Dog Restaurant

Wonderful diner. Just what I needed. Called in for breakfast and was served by a wonderful waitress named Callie. Ordered scrambled eggs and hash browns, food came very quickly and was served with a smile. My drink was refilled quickly and I never waited for anything, even at a busy breakfast period. Reasonably priced also considering the portions, I was full until well past lunch. I'll be visiting here again, definitely.

Came here for a meeting in the board room. Pretty large meeting space and at $25, it is pretty reasonable to rent for the night. As for the building as a whole, it is pretty old and could use a remodel. It has been awhile since I've ate in the restaurant but remember everything being great.

My daughter and I went for a late dinner about an hour and a half before they closed. The food was good but it took a while to get it. There were only a few tables occupied, so I don't know what happened there. I was really disappointed when I ordered off the Internet menu for take out during my lunch. When I discovered my meal was different than advertised online, I called. The explanation was that the new owner didn't have the password or log in info to make the changes that reflect the new menu. The food was good, but not what I believed I had ordered.

Simple but huge menu---just a diner with decent food/prices. Staff was excellent! Cosy place to eat and study. Just what I was looking for. Old school charm.

The food was good however, I was overcharged for my bill. I didn’t notice until 2 weeks later but the amount was significant. Of course I did not save the receipt, I have never had this problem ever! My bill should have been $12.40 but I was charged $27.80!!! Something shady is going on here. I definitely will not be back and learned a lesson. I will keep every receipt I get from now on for every transaction I ever do.
