Great Poke place in Downtown East Lansing ! Service was great and the poke bowl ingredients were very fresh. We tried the Signature choices and felt the combinations were just ok. Prices seem a bit high for the portions given but taste was good. It’s worth trying out if you’re in the area!
This restaurant is just soooo good. All the ingredients are FRESH and the bowl tasted so good. And I want to highly rate the professionalism of the staffs. For me, it was really common that restaurant staff mistakenly forget to exclude or include certain ingredients. But the staff in Poke fresh, never missed to perfectly satisfy my numerous topping requests. I would recommend this place to who Want to try fresh & tasty food Trying to lose weight Need a Quick yet healthy lunch Hope this place flourish more, when the students come back to city soon.
Loved the poke! Tastes like sushi but in a bowl. They have smoked fish if your scared of raw fish.
In the past, I've loved Poke Fresh and it was one of my favorite places to go when I needed a pick-me-up. Lately, however, my visits to this location have been disappointing. Today was the final straw, unfortunately. My bowl was mostly rice with pitiful scoops of vegetables and toppings. The worker was rude and when making my bowl, he put in the wrong protein plain tofu, when I asked for the miso maple tofu. I mentioned that I didn't think he put in the right tofu it was clearly plain tofu, as the other two were definitely seasoned, but he argued with me that it was the correct tofu. He seemed like maybe he was new, so this may have been a one-off, but regardless, I've still noticed a trend in increased prices and decreased amount of food given during my past few visits. I have no problems with price increases, as I understand inflation and the rising costs of goods, but when I'm paying $17 after tip for a bowl that is 90% rice, something doesn't seem right.
Great little poke bowl place in East Lansing! Great variety of options and toppings including tempura shrimp which isn't very common in poke places. Felt like the price was very reasonable as the portions were substantial and that the toppings were all included with no extra silly surcharges. The mini size bottom was great for a quick lunch and the regular sized top was extremely filling. Overall, a reasonably priced poke shop with huge portions and fresh fish and ingredients. Local Detroit soda was also delicious and refreshing. Do stop by!
Their food is great if not a little bit expensive but the last time I went the ice machine gave me a dead fly in my water. Would be a 5/5 if they cleaned their machine.
Very good. Got a Poke Bowl with smoked salmon, spicy salmon, and spicy tuna for my birthday. Added some seaweed, sauces, rices, and other toppings, all for a reasonable price and sharable. I was hoping for sushi rolls but was slightly disappointed that those weren't available at the time, though I was happily surprised when I tried the poke bowl, shared with a friend of mine. There are plenty of options to choose from for fish and topping, as well as a white and brown rice option. The service was also great, the employees were both kind and helpful, answering questions about sauces and telling us our alternatives for rolled sushi. The atmosphere is also lovely. It's a fairly small space, though it has both small group, couple, and single seating, plus a green faux plant wall decoration. I'm hoping to go there again sometime soon, I'll see if there's rolled sushi then.
It’s always suspect when a poke place has cooked chicken as one of their options. It’s a decent place, but I don’t get the hype. If you’ve spent time in Hawaii having quality poke bowls, you’ll be disappointed. They charge extra for seaweed salad, avocado, and their imitation crab, which I suppose is fine. They gave decent scoops of fish when making the bowl, their fish was fresh, toppings were okay. Overall a meh.
Poké Fresh is PHENOMENAL! Great staff, super fresh food and online ordering is fast and easy! I personally LOVE the Heat Wave with half sushi rice, half spring lettuce as a base. I add avocado, garlic teriyaki sauce and crispy onions along with all the other ingredients. There are not many other foods that I crave like a yummy Poké Bowl!
Great food for a good price. This was the second time I visited and it was amazing both times. Good amount of choices and friendly people.
