Such a cute coffee shop! Very good vibes and ambience. Good for reading a book, getting some work done with your laptop or just have a bite with a friend. I had a Flat White with Oat Milk and a Raspberry Chocolate muffin and it was super yummy. It is rare to see this type of places around this area and I love it! Will be coming here often :
Pastries and drinks galore. This is a neat corner coffee spot where you get that natural and low key vibe of a coffee house. Sandwiches are from Adamson's and needless to say the owner of Plaxton is Adam as well. This is a well done place in terms of service, quality, cost and decor. Nothing is overly priced and priced $3-8 just right to the great quality and taste. The squares here..highly recommend. This is the kind of place East York needed without all that extra gimmicky fanciness attached to it.
Amazing coffee shop! Good quality and local ingredients. My wife and I love their croissants, matcha lattes and dirty chai's.
I had a chai latte and a ginger molasses cookie. They were delicious!!! It's a cute, clean, small, modern looking cafe. They have a selection of grain free , gluten free ,vegan and regular treats. The staff member working there on Sat afternoon was welcoming.
Paxton Coffee is also a great place for tea and snacks. They are scrupulously clean, bright and airy, they do a lovely and unusual Hojicha latte which has become an addiction and everything is beautifully presented with a smile.
amazing!! the atmosphere is very calm and its the perfect place to hang out with friends, go for a snack or even get work done!! the drinks are amazing and so are the pastries. i haven’t tried the sandwiches but i’m sure they’re amazing as well. this café has made my life a bit more enjoyable.
Coffee is next level delicious. Brisket sandwich is lovely as are the baked goodies I have tried. Atmosphere is light and fresh, you can tell a lot of thought and care has been put into it.
Wonderful addition to the neighbourhood! Great coffee! Have tried most of the sweets which are excellent they are courtesy of Adamson Bakery! Have not tried the sandwiches however they are made with Adamson BBQ meats so I'm sure they'll be delicious! So glad Plaxton coffee is here!
I am so happy to have a place in the neighbourhood to go to! The commercial part of this street needs work and Plaxton seems to have started a rejuvenation of the area. I LOVE LOVE the sandwiches, crispy delicious buttery bread grilled in a panini press to the perfect crunch. I have had the brisket, veggie and pork but the best is the Cubano pork! The only time I had soup it was potato leek and had the perfect amount of seasoning, I love a peppered soup and didn't have to add anything to it. Coffee is great, I'm simple I love a drip and I really love their blends. And the cinnamon brioche is YUM! The gooey centre drool. The space is warm and quiet with the right amount of buzz when it's full. The barista is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for being in the neighbourhood! We hope to support you for years to come!
Very nice coffee shop to hang out or even seat for a coup of coffee and reading or getting work done on a computer. Everything you’d find in a Starbucks, but with a very personal and local touch and ownership. Today I had a quiche which was really good, but next time I’m back I’ll definitely try one do their sandwiches, which take Adamsons’ meat.
