Based on reviews, we had very high hopes, but the espresso tastes burnt, yet sour. The zucchini walnut muffin was really good and the blueberry scone was decent. We threw our coffee out and journeyed elsewhere.
Flat white was strong and smooth. Friendly service and cozy environment. Definitely will return when in the area.Food: 5/5
We visited East Toronto Coffee Co. today. When we reached, it was late and the cafe had closed. While we were reading the timings posted on the door, the door opened and I was greeted by Ruben. Although it was after hours and the coffee machine was all cleaned for the next day he invited us in and was so welcoming. He did not hesitate and offered us anything we wanted. We chose to have the hot chocolate with charred marshmallows the best in Toronto. Ruben was so nice to talk to while he made us our drinks. The service we received was more than anyone could expect. I would highly recommend visiting this place. Thanks, Ruben, for going the extra mile and making our evening one to remember.
amazing place for espresso and coffee! the espresso totally smooth and no aftertaste! such a great roast! Parking can be a bit of an issue so maybe, bring a friend! The service was amazing and they are also super caring with the initiative they had this past weekend to battle spg50! Great coffee, great place, great service, great people! GREAT JOB! Atmosphere is good. I had a mochaccino and it was not the best. I'll come back and try something else.Food: 3/5
This establishment is in such a cute area and off the main road that makes it more intimate. The server was such a pleasant individual and when I mentioned I wanted to take pics for Instagram was more an obliged to make it accessible for me. The hot chocolate was delicious. The rainbow design of the first one was very sweet but not to sweet. And the roasted marshmallows reminded me of childhood as I ate into the chewy crispy ness of the marshmallow! I also was able to purchase the hot chocolate bombs they had there and they worked perfectly at home! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the city!
A nice addition to the neighborhood. The coffee isn't anything special but the baked goods are tasty.Food: 3/5
Probably my favorite coffee shop in the East End. Excellent espressos, baked good are phenomenal, nice decor inside. Top notch
Our favourite coffee shop in the East End! Fantastic coffee and pastries, staff is very friendly. The cold brew is significantly better than Starbucks or any other we’ve tried.
Happy to find nice cute coffee shop near home. Staff was super friendly. Coffee is very strong. Around the corner from Cassis Bake.
