Plato's Closet® is all about being fashion savvy and shopping smart. We specialize in gently used clothes and accessories for teen and twenty something girls and guys. All stores are independently owned franchises.

At Plato's Closet® you'll find a huge selection of trendy, designer styles as well as those every day basics you can't live without - all at up to 70% off mall retail prices!

Our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 15/16 and guys size 28 to 38 waist. The gently used clothing and accessories that we buy are: top-name brands, cool, hip, trendy, and clean. Typically we buy items that have been in the retail stores within the past 12 to 18 months.

Our process is quick and easy:

1. Go through your overflowing closet
2. Bring in your cool stuff
3. Walk out with new cool stuff or $$$ in your pocket!

I feel like this location picks and chooses what they want to accept. Brought in a couple items including a pair of shoes that were in better condition than some of the ones displayed on their shelves so I thought they would take them, but refused for little scuffs/‘wear and tear’ although wore them about 4 times total. I should have known better because I did read the reviews and most are not good ones. You’re better off donating to someone that needs them or even Plato’s in Brampton is a bit better than this location.

I tried selling clothes at Plato’s Closet. I left my phone number, and the staff said they’d text me the evaluation results. After waiting for almost an hour with no message, I went back inside. They told me they weren’t accepting any of my clothes and had forgotten to text me. I wouldn’t recommend trying to sell clothes here.

This store sells fakes. Is it even allowed to sell fakes in Canada? Beware of the items you buy here. A ysl bag for 20 dollars.

Does this place actually ever buy your stuff from you?  I don't think so.  They just want it to be donated.   Big time.  Oh and I have tried high end clothes like Eton to Roots so my stuff is not shit ok! Thank you

Disappointing location, Woodbridge is much better. Went in to use the washroom while in the area and found an adorable green silky xsmall dress from Zara’s that unfortunately had a broken zipper. I guess staff doesn’t check what’s being put on the rack after customers try things on and break it or they’re buying old, broken and unfashionable clothing from friends/their closet.
