Place-d'Armes

One of the best locations in terms of subway, from this one you can reach Chinatown and a lot of Montreal's cultural attractions, but the station itself can be rather scary at night. Lots of homeless people and sometimes there's some drug-related behavior that most tourists are not used to see.

Close to Chinatown, Holiday Inn, Travelodge and tourist attractions. It has some fast food and a Convenience store. The guy who sold us our Train tickets was very nice a patient with us confused tourists.

Instructions are in french but end stations are clearly marked. Ticket machines has an option for english. They also have a ticket booth. Subway is cleaner compared to NYC and Philadelphia

Salt, slush, and grime tend to pile up, and it sometimes feels like the cleaning schedule just can’t keep up with the crowds.nnStill, the unbeatable location and attached amenities make Place d’Armes a practical stop, even if it could use a little more attention to maintenance during the colder months

Good placement but horrible planning.nnA month ago, they close a street including a pedestrian area.nNo idea when it will be up.nnThis weekend they decided it would be a great idea to close an entrance. Why? Why not.nnThis metro is a maze at this point.nThe planning is all over the places.
