Reviews
Our family was visiting Montreal and tried using the Metro for the first time. Unfortunately, our experience at this station was not welcoming. We approached a female staff member at the ticket counter for help, but she was dismissive and unkind in her response. As newcomers to the city and transit system, we expected some level of guidance, but instead felt looked down upon and ignored. We felt uncomfortable and discouraged from asking for any further assistance.nnPublic service staff play an important role in making a city feel inclusive and welcoming — sadly, that was not our experience here. We hope the transit authority takes note and encourages all staff to treat everyone — regardless of background — with respect and empathy.
I was here in 2019. It is a generally good metro station and gets you to the nearby hotels and cafe’s easy. The decor is pleasant.
One of the busiest stations. Nice and close to everything. Mind the exit you need to use, if you go one way you can’t go the other after passing the door hahannNear Rue Stanley Exit is Victoria’s Secret, Second Cup, The YMCA and others.
It’s a metro station. What is there to review?nHow do I stop these Google notifications from asking me to review things all the time.
Nobody at the ticket desk and only one machine to buy tickets.nnUnlike cities like London, you cannot “tap” into the metro system, you need a dedicated ticket from the machine.nnAnticipate up to 10 minutes in order to buys your ticket. You better not be in a rush!
