PJC Jean Coutu

Interesting store. I've never seen one like it before. There were shelves stuffed with first aide, medicines, toys, snacks, and home goods. There was a desk with people in white lab coats behind it. Oddly, there were hallowe'en decorations up and there were some for sale. Strange place, but there seems to be good intentions here so I give it four stars.

This is the most unprofessional JC I've ever been to. They take FOREVER to prepare your prescription, even if you call in advance to pick it up. Today I called and they told me to come in an hour, I came an hour and a half after just to make sure and still had to wait 20 minutes. The pharmacist name Marc-André is so rude. This is the second time he asks me the same question about a medication that I stopped taking, my doctor approved to cease taking it and wrote it on my new prescription for a new medication. He proceeds to interrogate me as to why I don't want to take it anymore, I told him that I couldn't handle the side effects (as I mentioned the last time I was there.) I reminded him that my doctor - a woman- (who has been following me for a really long time) said it was ok. He asked again, very arrogantly, and I said that I already discussed it with my doctor. He then says, well you have to tell me because I'm a pharmacist (sorry buddy, didn't know that being a pharmacists made you as competent as a real doctor) I felt uncomfortable and had to explain to him how I was unable to have an orgasm on this medication and that was a big no for me. All this happened at the front counter, he didn't even have the decency to talk to me at the Private / semi-private consultation area, which is made available at pharmacies to facilitate discussion with your pharmacist. In short, avoid this pharmacy, especially if the pharmacist is a n arrogant young man named Marc-André

A bit small and and cramped but at least the the recent renovation made more space for the pharmacists.

The store is medium sized, but has a decent variety of products. I've always had friendly service here.
