Pizzeria Da Romolo

Our first visit, and it was a great find. It is our new go-to wood burning oven pizza restaurant in Ottawa. Plan ahead if you want to eat there as it has few tables, best to arrive early or call ahead. Better yet order ahead, and pick up your pizzas. So many people picked up pizzas while we were eating there, it was impressive how busy they were.

A really delicious pizza. I was very impressed, especially for being right downtown. Staff was very friendly. Their chili oil had a bit of a strange flavour, but pretty much only negative. Definitely come try!Food: 4/5

We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the rustica pizza but subbed the arugula for mushrooms. We also had a tiramisu for dessert. Overall, the pizza was very delicious and we were very pleased to order 2. One of the pizzas were slightly more charred than the other, which I didn't like but my partner preferred. The taste was excellent and the ingredients tasted fresh. The tiramisu was good but it seemed more like a mousse since it didn't have a lot of lady fingers or whatever biscuit they used - it was a nice palate cleanser though. Would come again.

Wow! How did I just find out about tis place. I had the arancini, pizza and tiramisu. All three were perfect. The arancini didn’t look pretty, but the taste is all that matters. Pizza was perfectly cooked, and crust was thin and chewy. Tiramisu is probably the best I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back and will bring friends.

The pizza is fantastic - quality toppings, light crust, great portions. Pizzas are $10 on Tuesdays!! The service was fast and friendly. The only minor complaint is the music is loud and surprisingly pop music, which is a little odd for an Italian restaurant for dinner!

The best pizza ever. Even though I am not a big fan of pizza, I am going to be a big fan of pizza from this restaurant!

I went out for a quick meal at this location. I have to say the pizza is fantastic and the service was great. The atmosphere is relaxed, the location is clean and I would definitely recommend going there for some real pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection and there is no shortage of toppings. Fantastic and reasonably priced.

Amazing pizza with great toppings. I aim for quality and this place surpasses many others. Taste the difference between a real Italian wood oven pizza and an average place one. Very clean restaurant, seating available, delivery or take out. Your choice. Licensed as well. Attentive service without fail. I love this place.

I come by on most Tuesdays for the pizza deal and I have loved every type that I’ve had, my fave being the Caprese. The servers and staff are super friendly and capable also! My friend visited from Italy said this place had the most authentic Italian pizza he’d had in Ottawa. I take everyone here now to show them. I can’t recommend the place enough!

We had an amazing experience here for lunch! Shared a perfect Margherita pizza, the dough was outstanding and the toppings were tasty. The sides - an arugula salad and a roasted red pepper and tomato soup - were also fresh and delicious. The service was amazing - our waitress was very warm and helpful, and the chef checked on us and was also super pleasant. Highly recommend checking this spot out for lunch or dinner - and take advantage of their 12$ pizza deal on Tuesdays! :
