Great evening for cocktails, tasty appetizers and delicious wood-fired oven pizzas at Giulia. The restaurant is well decorated, the food is simple, fresh and tasty, the service is friendly and efficient. The place was full, the atmosphere was buzzing on a Friday evening a bit loud for my taste, but that’s just me showing my age. Overall pleasant evening and will definitely visit again.
Giulia offers a great selection of simple and tasty thin-crusted pizza. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe Fritters, Margherita & Benjamin Button pizzas. The pizza dough was chewy, crispy and the flavour was not lacking. I loved the hip and inviting atmosphere. The food and drinks are prepared right in front of you with their open kitchen and bar concept. It was my first time visiting with a friend and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful, informing us about the daily specials upon inquiry. It was overall a memorable dining experience.
My new favourite place in Ottawa. If you haven’t been, you need to go. I love the interior, and I love the outdoor tent. This means lots of seating, and less chances for everything to be fully booked. The burrata was an 11/10. The white pizza I had is a prosciutto lover’s dream. The olive oil and salt vanilla ice cream? Another 11/10. The food was high quality and the price was very, very good. I cannot wait to come back and try even more on their menu.
The pizza was fantastic! Service was fantastic! And the ambiance as well was great. The cocktails could be improved. Negroni was nothing out of the ordinary, using crushed ice which really waters down the cocktail. The "there will be blood" cocktail was nice but an overly smoky flavour.
Forget about any other pizza spot in the city, Giulia is THE place. The quality is immaculate, it is clear fresh ingredients are used. The concept of the restaurant creates an intimate transparency with kitchen and customer. Tried the tuna crudo to change things up and it did not disappoint full of flavours fresh and zesty with a hint of spice. Cocktails are unique and crafted to perfection. Staff were attentive , friendly and efficient with taking orders. Our food came faster than anticipated
Giulia is one of the best pizza restaurants in The Capital. Great location, well designed inside & outside sitting area, beautiful decor & most importantly delicious pizzas, amazing & friendly staff, wonderful food presentation & alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks options.
Delicious pizza and yummy cocktails. Visited here Saturday night with some friends. The price is hefty considering they are personal sized pizzas expect $20-26. Specialized cocktails were average price around $10-14. Small beer selection, a house beer and an IPA. Beautiful aesthetic within however when we were there it was quite busy and a little hard to hear our server. I would suggest making a reservation if you plan on dining here.
I can only say it’s the best pizza place in Ottawa! The pizza bread is amazing, great ingredients, and the place has a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend any of the white pies. Only complaint would be that they don’t have any gluten-free or lactose-free options.
First time trying it and it was great! Pizza is def one of the best in town. The service was great and the wines were enjoyable. The Ambience compliments the entire experience Restaurants like this elevate Ottawa’s status
Wonderful experience from the moment my friend and I stepped in until we left. Service was attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. Food was absolutely delicious. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat and cannot wait to go back. Thank you to the Giulia team!!
