Pizza Sam's

This place has been my goto pizza place pretty much my whole life. Heck, I even played on a little league team sponsored by them. I used to love their pepperoni pizza rolls back in the day. Now I'm a fan of their similar, but higher quality, calzones. Staff is friendly, store is clean, food is great, and ordering online is super convenient. I will be back every chance I can.

Great place, great pizza. Nice to eat non-sweet pizza. Decent prices too.

This hometown pizza parlor is a long standing favorite. Pie flipping artist DAVE makes exquisite entrees that send your taste buds into a frenzy. When visiting downtown Midland or ordering delivery choose Pizza Sam's for a grand experience.

I did not like the pizza. I thought the crust was really good, but the sauce had little flavor. The pepperoni had a smoke flavore, which I do not like.Food: 3/5

Very disappointing!! The pizza was awful! My co-workers got steak sandwiches & they said the meat quality was very poor & no flavor to the sandwich at all. Such a cool place! I didn't realize it was so big on the inside! We got their sweet potato fries and they were AMAZING! I would go back just for those! Their pizza is really delicious too and we look forward to going back to try some of their specialty pizzas!Food: 5/5

We just came in for ice cream. We were so disappointed! First we stood at the ice cream counter for a while, before someone else came to the register to take our order. Before we were served, the young man served a family that hadn’t paid yet! Once we got our ice creams we all asked him if he was sure those were the correct sizes. The portion sizes were extremely small! We have no intention of returning. Midland has so many other places that serve decent size ice creams!

I have gone here many, many times over the last 2-3 decades. In the last few years I get raw dough on my cheese bread, raw calzone dough in the middle unless specified Well Done this was not always the case and if you get a gyro, the meat is crusty and the sauce cups are half-full. If nobody has ordered one in a while, then cut the outside layer and TOSS IT... don't serve it!! I Black-Listed this place with a heavy heart a few months ago and decided to give them another shot. I went to place an order for a calzone and it says COMES WITH up to 4 toppings. Oh, they didn't mean 'comes with' in the traditional sense, they meant you have to pay for anything over 1 topping. Comes with a Ferrari P.S. Ferrari will add $138,298 to your bill. Terrible management. They clearly are riding on their reputation from days gone past.

It's a nice pizza shop. It's changed over the years and used to be more cozy, but since then it's been modernized. Food is great, staff is great, and overall decent place to grab some food.Food: 5/5
