I visited this restaurant for the very first time two weeks ago. The food, staff and environment were great! This being said, I decided to dine here again tonight. The experience was the complete opposite. I ordered my usual Burrito Mexicano and was not impressed. Not only was the shredded pork extremely overcooked it was so dry/tough I almost couldn’t cut it with a knife, the server did not offer a replacement or even apologize after I informed her on at least 2 occasions. I finally asked for cheese sauce in an attempt to “fix” my meal… Luckily they did not charge me for the cheese sauce, but I’m now undecided if I will dine here again after having 2 completely different experiences.
The online prices are no longer accurate. We were charged way more than expected. I understand inflation.. And I wouldnt have minded as much if I got what i ordered. I ordered cheese enchiladas and found out they were chicken enchiladas after I chewed a big Ole bite. Ive been a vegetarian for over 30 years so it was a quite unsettling. The girl who took our order was nice and apologetic. But after being charged twice what I expected and getting food I couldnt eat, I will not be returning. My partner liked the tamales though so at least someone was able to eat.
5 gallons of goodness in a 2 gallon bucket. Bomb.
Small little Mexican joint in downtown. Kind of a weird layout... Almost like the building isn't complete. Good food otherwise; I had a burrito with ground beef which was a bit salty, but tasty overall. Great fresh tortilla chips. Friendly staff--Our server was very responsive and courteous.
Overall had a really good experience. Shared the number 4 meal pictured below and the appetizer sampler. Both were very good and definitely enough for 3 teenage boys to eat. The quesadillas were the highlight of the meal. The chips and salsa were surprisingly good as well. One of the best Mexican options in Midland! Would go again.
First visit today for lunch. Never looked at their menu just ordered a drink and the steak fajitas. I always try the fajitas first when going to a new Mexican joint. This was very good, and a decent portion as well. I only had a few minutes between getting my drink along with the chips & salsa before the main course showed up. Served on a sizzling skillet the fajita vegetables and steak were amazing. Monica, my server, even honored my slightly difficult request with grace and speed. Price was reasonable, food was great, service was quick, and I was happy. I will be returning!
You are better off selling your soul to the devil, the food was dry and tasteless, the sweet tea was water with food coloring seriously how do you mess sweet tea up, but they sure did, just drive somewhere else for food, I will never go back again and I will never recommend the place
Pretty disappointed. They have decent portion sizes, but just no flavor. I got the Enchiladas Rancheritos no lettuce and my boyfriend got the Mega Burrito. Pictures of both are below. My boyfriend says the only thing he could taste was nuts?
Wife and I were recommended to stop here for great food w a good value. Speedy quick service, almost too fast, but my belly thanked them. Wide variety of standard fare with some new selections. Most important was the great tasty combos. Definitely will return.
