Pizza Pizza

Nobody gives pizza pizza the credit they deserve anymore. You need to know how to order with these guys. Trust me change regular pepperoni to New York style, change mozzella base to four cheese base. Ask for the italiano blend seasonings and ask them to put it on before it goes in the oven ( or else they often put it on after) thick crust instead of regular and lightly done. It gets less oily still crispy on the bottom but warm and fluffy and doughy on the inside... If you don't eat this within 10 minutes of picking it up just promise yourself you will put it in the oven to reheat it. Oh and their jalapeno poppers are way WAY better then you expect

I ordered a pizza on the phone and the lady told me it will be ready in 20 min or it's free. I was two minutes early to pick up my order but I gave the cashier my name and phone number. She took another customer so by the time she was done I asked her if my order was ready. She looked around and couldn't find it so I waited a bit more. Then I told her my order has been longer than 20 min so is it free as per Pizza Pizza's policy. She ignored me at first and took other customers even though I was there before them. I asked again if my order was ready and she finally gave it to me and told me it was free. The guy who makes the pizza told her it's not free, he said that I gave the cashier wrong information even though I did not. He immediately took the pizza and told her I had to pay and to take other customers before me. I immediately called Pizza Pizza's customer service but they did not answer the phone. My husband came in and asked the cashier what is going on. She finally gave me my order but not before the pizza guy shouted out racial slurs to me. I asked him politely, what did you just call me? He said I was a f**g chinaman, and said it twice. I couldn't believe my ears because first of all, I am a woman, and secondly, he is also a racial minority. I have lived in Canada for over 50 years and never in my life has anyone ever called me something like that. I am proud to be Canadian and respect all types of cultures. I am shocked that this gentleman who works at 8601 Warden can talk to customers with such foul language. I know this is an isolated incident because I have frequented this store many many times in the past. I just hope other customers will never be subjected to this type of treatment. I believe respect goes both ways and this guy has a lot to learn if he plans on living in Canada.

Not my favorite pizza but they have walk in specials which is a good price.

I don't leave bad reviews often but the customer service is nonexistent and it takes forever to get your food, even if you're the only customer. I just watched an employee handle money, then go straight to making our pizza without washing them or wearing gloves. A friend of mine asked them not to burn his pizza, because the one he just ordered was very burnt. The staff didn't take it well and they burned his next one even more. The attitude of the staff has never improved. If you're craving Pizza Pizza and not Pizza Nova for some reason, I recommend that you do not visit this location.

Ordered online and pick up at the store. Quick service. The pizza was already ready when I arrived. We ate it at the store. There is seating at the restaurant. The tables were relatively clean. The pizza was hot and fresh. The toppings were adequate. This location I have been there in the past and found it to be pretty consistent. I would recommend.
