Pizza Counter

A good, local pizza place. The service is efficient, but unspectacular. The atmosphere is pedestrian and fulfills the need: tables and chairs for eating and a kitchen for making. The pizza, however, is excellent! The crust reminds me of Minsky's in KC. It has it's own bread flavor that follows through after other flavors have dissipated. The cheese-only pizza is not just for kids. The cheese is abundant and has a garlic boldness. I wonder if they brush on garlic butter after it comes out of the oven. You must try Pizza Counter! They have two locations in CB.

Servers are friendly for the most part but does have a few who are rude unprofessional and inpatient with their clients i had ordered delivery once it happened that I paid with a check and there was an issue with the check so one of the staff had called me. I missed the call and the staff left a very rude, unprofessional and threatening voicemail. I did call them back as soon as I had gotten done in the other room. I told the lady that I had to go to class later that evening and I would stop in and correct the issue with the check on my way to class. I then proceeded to tell her that I was not ignoring the phone call I had actually was unable to answer the phone at the very moment that she had called and that it was not necessary to threaten and be unprofessional just because I didn't answer the phone.

Very good pizza, not greasy at all. Sides are reasonably priced.

Ordered delivery to ConAgra the driver was prompt and courteous The pizza was stupid-hot, hot enough to raise blisters. I would say it was microwaved or something it was unnaturally hot. I ordered pepperoni/pineapple/mushroom The pizza was exceptionally greasy. Didn't care for the sauce very thin and the topping wouldn't stay on the crust. On a scale of yuck to yum... I give it a blech!
