Pita Pit

Visited this location Feb 11 just before close. Staff was delightful, which is standard at any pita pit; food was far from acceptable. The iceberg and romaine lettuce a were visibly brown, the tomatoes and cucumbers looked about four days old based on the degradation of them. The gyro meat tasted like it was a couple days past its prime. I took 3 bites of my pita before I realized how awful it tasted. I don't throw much food out, but this went into the garbage. Truly disgusting. I will not likely be returning to this location, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Shame on the owners for trying to push bad food on people in the name of a dollar. I will update this if I am contacted regarding this truthful review.

Second time coming to this location and my last time. They charge $2 extra for a salad. $1.75 for gluten free. So one petita pita would have cost nearly $10. Barely any meat in the pita and the taste was mediocre. I did not finish my pita and left hungry. Why has Pita Pit become so expensive for what you get? The Welland location does not charge extra for a salad and fills your $10 pita. Why the inconsistencies? I don't write reviews often but this was bad.

Just eat here today my food was ok service is slow and they are very chatty just make the food and shut up lol

Always a great meal at a great deal. The staff are Always friendly and welcoming. Have never had a pita that was not top notch. Highly recommended.

If you enjoy Subway you will probably enjoy Pita Pit. Every time I have gone they have loaded up the pita to bursting point... love it.
