Pioneer pub is a great chill pub. The food is above average for bar food. The prices are below average compared to most bars. Lots of food and drink deals daily ontop of the happy hour specials. The vibe is generally an older crowd but everyone is very friendly. Service is always beyond exceptional. Great bar to hangout to watch sports and have a few drinks. Highly recommend.
WINGS!! Amazing, plump, large, juicy wings that are 75 cents each all day long on Tuesdays with the purchase of any drink. The wings come in batches of 10 and they come piping hot, fresh, and delicious. Flavour choices include terriyaki, honey garlic, Cajun, Thai, salt and pepper, lemon pepper, hot, gump, bbq, and more. Would highly recommend this place for wing night or wing mornings. The place is cozy and service is friendly.
Opened at 10AM, I can get an early caesar, and 2 keno machines.. Beef dip ok, fries thumbs up, breakfast alright, sausages were good. Caesar was nothing fancy but well made and tasty. Caesar salad was good, half size generous! Poutine worth ordering again. Service was great! As usual. Meat draw.
We are American tourists visiting. The food was great and the service was good as well. But when it came time to pay the pos system had no tipping option. I don’t know if this is common in Canada but regardless it’s pretty stupid, because we don’t just have Canadian dollars on hand to tip. I’m sorry to are waitress you did a great job and we wanted to tip you!
This is a good community place for locals to enjoy pub food and drinks. Special deals for each day of the week and a large seating area means that you are likely to be able to find a seat. The wings are meaty and you have a choice of several dry and wet flavors. Waitresses are always friendly and know the locals.
Came in for a pint and shaft the waitres Theresa was awesome. Came in had a blast, the bar tender Ty, has a great smile and will always make you feel welcome. Ladies he’s the one .Food: 5/5

They have epic food and the staff are great the do karaoke on Saturdays as well come check it outFood: 4/5
Visited this neighborhood pub on a Sunday night and the place was pretty empty. They have free popcorn that you can scoop up from a machine and as a result the floor was full of popcorn pieces. Ordered beer, chilli cheese fries, and taco salad. They were average and the server forgot my drink order. It is a pretty relaxed place for a pub and you can watch sports or play Keno with friends.
Came for the wings on Wings night! They were delicious! There was only one waitress but she was awesome and friendly! Will head back to try some other dishes.
