Might be overplaying my hand here, but easily the best classic new york style slice in the midwest, at least from what I've tried. Guys at the counter are always very friendly. Not quite to par with the ideal $1 slice, but 2 big slices and a drink for $8 is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Come for the pizza, return for the personalities. Some of my favorite pizza downtown and they will remember you when you comeback. Just try to catch them earlier rather than later, they can sell out before closing time.

Whenever I want a big NY style slice, this is where I go. They have a great everyday deal- 2 slices & soda for $6-7, but I usually am good to go with just 1 slice . The sauce is good, toppings basic & plentiful, right amount of cheese, the crust is chewy and almost crisp on the bottom- not all soggy, but still fold-able.

This place is fantastic! Good rates, big dishes and the staff members are always helpful.

I know that burgers equal grease, but when it saturates a part of the bun, it's gross. I got the one with triple cheese, Basil got the mushroom. We both loved the taste. We got salads as a choice of side. Blue cheese was homemade and it's a generous portion for a side. I drank water since iced tea is off the gun.

If this were NYC it would be a four.something slice but this is Minnesota and I challenge you to show me a better NY style slice in the Twin Cities. Mushroom pepperoni is better than the others if you ask me.
