Pine Lake Lutheran Camp

My first experience of an American summer camp, and i was blown away with how fantastic and inspiring the experience was! It really is a great place to grow in faith, meet new friends and have bucket loads of fun.

I spent a summer here as a kid in the late 1990s. Upon arrival the camp counselors took my packed food, books and medicine directly from my suitcases. Aside from the medicine, which I complained loudly about (kinda need that to live...), I didn't see any of my things again until camp was over. I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks because I wasn't fed enough (I don't eat meat and had no money for canteen), and I didn't have anything lose to start with. (Did I get an eating disorder after that? You bet!) Add to that a "no electronics" policy and all the Christian posturing, and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my childhood. I called and wrote my parents, but they didn't come and do anything about it even though we live in the state. After all, they did send me to this place, so what did I expect?

The new Director (Kelly Preboski) is absolute dynamite! She is re-vitalizing the Pine Lake Camp and in a few years it will be the most sought after christian camp in Wisconsin. Kelly and Zach (her husband) know how to connect with youth and display great leadership skills needed to run a quality camp. I am very impressed with the two of them and would recommend anyone to send their son or daughter to attend this amazing camp. 5 out of 5 stars says it all.

My son Hayden went here and had a wonderful time. This year his sister is taking the torch and will be attending camp for five days! I highly recommend this camp to anyone.

Great camp on the shores of Pine Lake to worship God! I have spent many summers here and I continue having a blast worshiping God!
